Thank you for all the support in the last 6 months. The grind will continue. I can’t guarantee results but I’ll keep pushing. And I need to have some fun too. Didn’t have fun in the last few tournaments. Going back to having fun 😂
Getting 1 point is really hard not because of level necessarily, but enduring the travel and playing qualis against people without any knowledge of their game style. Once you have 1 point and can qualify for the main draw of futures, everything becomes easier.
he has been around 400 in the ranking already when he was younger, so he definitely is a good player with big potential. unfortunately he is one of the many who couldn’t afford the itf tour by just playing tennis. still, even getting 1 point takes a lot of effort
Thanks for answering! I'm a therapist for performers(athletes, business professionals etc...). Love to see how performers handle the emotions. Sounds like you have a great mindset with your approach. Keep grinding. Buddies and I talk about your journey it's been fun to watch!
A lot of respect, and I want to echo the positive comments on here. However, one point is the sound balance is kind of strange, the clicking sound on cuts is quite harsh and loud, at least in my ears
+1 on everything you said and I wanna double down on the clicking sound - yeah that almost made me quit watching the video even tho enjoying the content alot
God bless you and keep pursuing your dreams. There probably no one at the ATP of your age and ranking with so many followers. Keep training, that is the key, we are all rooting for you.
Nah not a mistake because you had a go and regardless if it matched your definition of success or not at least you will know many years later that you had a go and that you will not be asking what if.
Not a mistake by any means in my opinion as a fan of yours. But please, enjoy the journey. You have inspired me to join the USTA and play league matches. Now I have joined two teams and play twice a week. This, plus my fun play with friends has had an effect on my fitness and I feel better and better by the week. Receive positive vibes from all of us and keep pushing!
i would recommend for recovery: carbs and proteins. spaghetti with eggs works wonders for me. rest. cold - like swimming or boarding try it. halfed my recovery time.
@@KaruesellHQ I always felt like Federer was just a big kid, enjoying tennis while he was being both fire and ice on the court. Moments of extreme fire with a cool and collected calm about him but all wrapped up in enjoying every moment as if it was his last. Best regards and I enjoy all of your vids! Thank you!
You’re doing great Karue I’ve been following since your vids with Naomi and I was wondering why ain’t this man still going pro and I’m glad you’re having a go again. Nothing is ever a regret you’re doing great I’m proud of you 😊
Great job pulling out the W R1, that 6 minute rant would have gotten into my head. He must get that serve in sometimes to be at 194. Awesome win. I think that tweener started his meltdown 😂
Karue is one of these guys that does more and advertise less. A solid tennis player that can win alot in the future! I think Karue should also try the doubles and perhaps play a Challenger together with Giron since they are good friends too! A Sell/Giron duel would be a tough one to beat and a great additional income for Karue!
Wacthed one of your videos about racquet testing 3 years ago, and thought this guy is def pro-level. Just after I saw this LOL Congrats over Holmgren win, that's crazy. Think you can really go far and make it into Challengers, specially in US. Good luck sir
I admire your resilience, I'm very glad to hear that you're coming back as you announced. I believed you played very well, but it seemed like you weren't fully utilizing your potential! I would love to play with you or see you in a tournament in Argentina. It would even be great if you could train here!
U have to be patient and u have time Bro , look at Jule Marie it needed him 2 years and a half to be at 200 ranking , so patience and commitment is a crucial key
Great video. Keep up the hard work. Small criticism on editing - the “mouse click” sound effect between segments hurts my ears (especially on headphones)
Hey Karue - huge fan! I noticed on a lot of the matches you've lost this year your 1st serve percentage was down. Like low 50s or below. Would you say that's your biggest area of improvement to get to the next level? Cause I think if you're consistently >60%, you're gonna crush your opponents especially given how good your return game is.
Yep. It's always the serve. Serving has never been easy to me and while I am a lot comfortable with it today, there are still days it goes off. And I can be stubborn trying to continue to hit big. That being said, you still need to win free points so it's about the balance of things. It is something I focus on a lot
@@KaruesellHQ You got this! As someone who also is shorter (by tennis standards lol), I draw a lot of inspiration from guys like you, DeMinaur, Mannarino, Alcaraz. Dominant service games needs to revolve around high 1st serve percentage and then good +1 forehands. Guys 6'0 and under like us aren't gonna have high ace percentages, but that's ok.
Just like USTA, accumulating ranking points is more about the quantity of tourneys played. Getting to the Finals or Championships consistently is what sets apart the 300-600 field.
Incredible progress Karue - keep pushing! For an amateur like me in my late 40s, where do you recommend I find tennis-specific trainers who can whip me into much better shape and higher fitness level?
Tony Robbins Ultimate Success Formula said there's no failure just wins and undesired results. If you give it ur all, and restrategize and take action again.
You have to live the grind, and not mind the travel. Otherwise i think it is very hard. I also think it is not the easiest profession in a relationship
Much better to physically be able to take a shot at your dream than not due to career-ending injuries. I had a severely torn rotator cuff my senior year of high school. In my early 20s, a good friend of mine (former pro player with top 10 wins who coached some top 50 players) offered to train me for my shot. I was physically unable accept his offer. :( Go for your dream whenever you can. :)
Vc joga demais Karue!! Na minha humilde opinião seu nivel é muito alto porem sua idade tbm ai o físico pega um pouco pra conseguir chegar ali no top 200 mais ou menos ! Mas to aqui na torcida, nos nunca sabemos o dia de amanhã
Your ATP ranking is around 600, however you did say that your UTR world ranking is 369. Of the two rankings, the UTR world ranking is probably a better indication of your level. I feel that one great advantage that a top 100 player has is the opportunity to play in front of huge crowds. The energy and excitement one feels playing in front of a packed stadium is difficult to describe. Of course playing challenger and futures events the crowds are a lot smaller. Players like yourself are truly artists, I hope you will always continue your tennis journey.
Hey Karue, wish you the best you definetely have the level to reach top 100! Do you have weight added to your racket? at what positions? thanks, good luck
Enjoyed your video a lot. Learn & improve my tennis from your videos. Could you do some videos on tennis oriented exercises you can do off court? Thanks!

modern bodies can go to 40. 40 is the new 30. Men are physically peaking at the 27-33 range, and after 33 it's declining, but not at an accelerated rate either. Depending on your lifestyle and diet, you could easily be a 30 year old athlete for multiple years and have high performance. You just need to take care of injuries just as any aged athlete must
This is an awesome vid Karue! Some great questions. I also had one for you as well. How much of rising in the pro rankings is mental and confidence versus a difference in skill and physical ability? I'm a 4.0 player and when I rally with some 4.5 buddies of mine I can keep up no problem but when we play matches I feel like I automatically handicap myself mentally by telling myself that I am worse than them which leads to my confidence eroding very quickly. Does this happen even at the top tier ranks when someone in the hundreds plays a top 50 player? Any tips on how I can overcome this?
Turning pro at 30 alone, possibly a mistake. Turning pro at 30 WHILE having a great youtube story + online presence and business, GREAT. Besides the top 10 players, most people don't pay attention to players sub rank 100. Creating a great story for us to follow your journey, win or lose, is great because, WE, the audience want a taste of the day to day life of a pro. We want to know what the players are thinking in their game, on the mental side.

You were very good @Calabasas for various reasons. Extremely good against Holmgren & insane mental strength in the 1st match. Great goin
@MyTennisHQ can share about your fitness routine between the tournaments? How much you time you spend on fitness while touring?

Might be going to UK at the end of the month
Sorry to hear you didn't have fun at the Bakersfield Tennis Open. I enjoyed watching you play and thanks for the selfie!
