@@DopeCantonese When I grew up I spoke Chinese with a Brooklyn accent. My grandma is from Shunde. I only eat and cook with a Shunde accent. My Cantonese is good enough to order a good meal. I can't follow the TV shows about Chinese history or those feng shui shows. Nobody told me there was such thing as a Shunde accent.

@@ColinWoods-by9my I don't think that that would be enough to keep you motivated long-term ;) Besides, speaking a target-language is almost never a requirement to pick up a girl. Sweet-talking is one way out of many. Some people have other qualities as well ;)
