- Today on Real Reviews we will be unboxing and reviewing my brand new Ice Cream Maker. This is the Vevor ICE2086BY Ice Cream Maker and it works great. Since this video I have already made a lot of ice cream and am really enjoying this machine. It has a stainless steel ice cream mixing bowl and a BPA free mixing blade. With this unit you can make delicious ice cream of all kinds in just around 45 minutes. Just be sure not to add more than just 4 cups including all of your ingredients to keep the bowl from filling up too much.

Thank you so much! Super enjoyed the video you were very thorough!
Thanks for watching. I really appreciate the positive comment.
Nice explained video, The hard and soft settings are pre configured timers not really texture sensors, ice cream maker technology has not progressed that far yet. I like the dimensions, first I've seen like that for compressor type. I still don't understand why manufacturers use plastic dasher, you will notice massive difference in ice cream quality if stainless steel dashers were used.
That is very interesting it would be nice to have a better build quality but for under $200 it pretty good.
Thanks for the video. I’ve made some ice cream in the past. Try a custard style recipe. I think k that might be what you’re looking for. A custard style uses egg in the recipe which improves consistency (less icy, and firm but softer).
It does require cooking to temper the egg, but I think you’ll like the consistency.
Yes I have heard of that but try to keep it as simple as possible. I may give it a shot as it is supposed too have a smoother texture. I am now using half and half and it comes out great. I will be doing a strawberry ice-cream recipe video soon.
So far I have recipes for Vanilla, Strawberry, Chocolate, Peaches and Cream and Cookies and Cream.
Any reason you purchased vertical vs horizontal other than counter space?
Like you said, firstly, for counter space. I also realized that the bowl on the upright seemed to be wider and more shallow vs the other which seemed to be deeper but not as wide. It just seemed easier to work with the upright for those reasons. Thanks for watching the video.
Does that big Vevor label on the front come off?
The label on the front is printed on so it does not come off. You could, however, place a sticker over it if you like since the front does not get hot.
Mine gets to 59:43 and stops timing and says "COOL" and stops mixing.
The time it takes really depends on the ingredients and how much the total mix placed into the machine is. When I began limiting the total mix to just 4 cups, the machine now finishes at roughly 45 minutes and goes to cool. I'm making some Vanilla as I write this reply. I can't wait until it's done. Yum!
Mine does the same thing
@brandoncoblentz3756 Mine is still rocking that good homemade ice cream. It was one of my best purchases to date.

I would like some promo to hit my 1k and beyond.
