I was with the Angels from 90-94. When we were at Skydome one time he came out and hit batting practice with us before the game. Afterward back in the clubhouse he actually came up to me and initiated a conversation. I have no recollection of what we talked about because the whole time I was thinking "Here I am and Geddy F'in Lee decided to come up and start talking to me!"
One of the most priceless baseballs in Geddy's collection is a baseball that is signed by 26 of the 33 players in baseball history with 3,000 hits or more.
Thanks Warren! Definitely one of the top 5 rock bands of all time in my opinion! Really cool to learn that Geddy Lee has a passion for collecting just like you and I! I appreciate you watching! 👍🏻
Thanks Drew! He definitely has amassed an amazing collection over the last 40 years! Of course if you or I had his money I’m guessing it would be a lot easier to put together a collection like that! 😁
Love that Geddy is into baseball and he is correct by saying it is an anachronism. I hope he has a signed baseball by my favorite player and the best third basemen to play the game, Brooks Robinson. RIP Brooksie and phenomenal collection Geddy!
During the pandemic when no spectators were allowed at sports events, during the Toronto Blue Jays games, there was a cardboard placard of Geddy Lee sitting behind home plate during Blue Jays broadcasts. On a different note, Geddy Lee donated over 400 baseballs autographed by Negro League players to the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City.
That’s funny that the Blue Jays put a cutout of him in the stands during g the pandemic! 😂 I knew he donated some autographed baseballs to the Negro League Museum, I didn’t realize it was that many! What an amazing gesture, great guy!
I did watch this one before, but it's always good to refresh. I did research on his collection, and it's all unique and museum quality. Thanks for sharing, Jim.
Thanks for sharing Jim. It’s always fun to who else collects. What a collection he has. If only I had written “Spirit of the Radio” maybe I’d have a Shoeless Joe bat.
Thanks Andy! I always appreciate your comments my friend! Yeah man Geddy Lee has been an avid collector for 40 years and thanks to his financial status he’s been able to amass a very significant collection. I love to see that a guy like that has a similar passion as guys like you and I do!

Hi Brian! I appreciate your comment and I hope you and your family are doing well! Hahaha I definitely contribute some of my hearing loss to all the rock concerts I attended in the 80s and 90s! 😂😂😂
Hi Chris! That’s very true about coming to grips with what happens to our collection, however, he “only” sold 300 items which is just a small part of the significant collection he has put together of the course of 40 years!
It wouldn’t surprise me if he donated some to the HOF. He just recently sold some stuff through Christies as well and there was a few Negro League items there too. He’s put together a significant collection of thousands of pieces over the last 40’years! I appreciate you watching!
There Canadian aren't they Hockey fans or like Ferguson jenkins and Larry Walker Geddy Lee is more Baseball? what part of Canada are they from South Ontario like where Hamilton is or North like where Sudbury is? the greatest Bass player collects Baseball items.

Hahaha yeah it must be nice indeed! 😂
Just assumed every Canadian kid's first love was hockey, apparently not.
Yeah I thought the same thing, not in this case though! Thanks for watching!
Sadly he recently sold most of it off. I guess we all have to come to grips at some point of what happens to our collection.
Hi Chris! That’s very true about coming to grips with what happens to our collection, however, he “only” sold 300 items which is just a small part of the significant collection he has put together of the course of 40 years!
@@PickerJimS Glad to hear he kept a good bit. I saw some of the stuff he sold and it was some pretty significant items!
How cool is that?
It’s really cool for sure! I appreciate you watching Eric!
I'm a huge Rush fan. I haven't seen that clip in a long time. I think Geddy donated his negro league autograped baseball collection to the HOF.
It wouldn’t surprise me if he donated some to the HOF. He just recently sold some stuff through Christies as well and there was a few Negro League items there too. He’s put together a significant collection of thousands of pieces over the last 40’years! I appreciate you watching!
Sadly, he auctioned off a ton of it, or is about to.
Hi Mike! Yes he auctioned off 300 items, some very significant pieces but just a small portion of his collection, he’s been collecting for 40 years!
There Canadian aren't they Hockey fans or like Ferguson jenkins and Larry Walker Geddy Lee is more Baseball?
what part of Canada are they from South Ontario like where Hamilton is or North like where Sudbury is?
the greatest Bass player collects Baseball items.
Hi Mark! I don’t know if he likes hockey but he is definitely a serious baseball fan and has been collecting for 40 years! He has a very significant collection! I believe he is from the Toronto area.
