Nice jumps ! I would recommend not puting your camera on your head while doing handheld jumps. At 1:14 you can see the bridle not being too far from the GoPro screw... That's scary I think. On a bad throw or with some wind it can really snag under it. I'm just beginning at BASE Jumping, but I met really experienced jumpers not going handheld with their cameras. Be safe bro ! :)
You are correct and I always keep that in mind when I jump with it. If I use that mount I always take wind speed and direction into consideration, and exit on the side that will be the most forgiving in that regard as far as the slight crosswind direction, or even body position in relation to the wind. In the video it appears much closer than it actually is due to the 360 camera lense. It’s definitely a good point to bring up and something to always assess and consider on exit.
