Queensryche remains a force to be reckoned with...great progressive song and Todd's vocals are amazing, he is one great vocalist. This is one of the best songs they ever wrote.
Todd is also an amazing drummer!
This is the first album where I have heard Todd really step out from under Geoff's shadow vocally. This is all Todd and his voice and personality with just enough of that hard hitting bass line and classic rhythm to remind you that this is still...Queensryche. Good stuff!!
All three albums with Todd have been great but he's definitely getting more confident each time. He has definitely made his own mark on the band's sound by this point. I personally feel like he has brought back to the band what has been missing for so long.

I'm sorry but I disagree. No matter how you slice or dice it, this is still a mimic of Geoff. Matter of fact, everything about this is an attempt to re kindle a captured tone that will never be again. I guess you could say imitation is the greatest flattery,regardless....it's still an imitation.
@@Maddogg-hg5me . The 2013 self title album with Todd is great but I feel that album needs to be remastered, the songs are good but the sound is not that great on that particular album.

Best fucking song on the album...the dual lead is reminiscent of Whip and Chris in the old days and Tods whaling is fucking brutally AWESOME...love love love it...Eddies little bass solo is fucking badass...we need more of it...great song

Tate lies. I have their first 6 albums. Whip wrote and co-wrote a lot of those songs. Scott has an award for writing a non- Ryche song.
Chris was the magical writer, but for Geoff to claim that only he & Chris wrote most of early Ryche’s music is a flat out lie.

I haven't listened to Queensrche since the '90's, but this is rather good.
Me neither, but be honest: this is GREAT! QR was unbeatable in their glory years, with the megatalented Geoff & Chris. But I'm so glad to see they are still going strong. And I love Todd's voice!

Seen these guys last week in Kansas City and they sounded better than they have in years. Todd has brought a new energy to the band that had been lacking for a while with Geoff. Eddie and Michael really seem to be enjoying playing on stage again. If you are a fan of Queensryche music...GO SEE THIS BAND!
