Hugo Calderano emprega muita energia para cada ponto ganho nos dois primeiros sets, depois disso ele cansa, perde a concentração e a velocidade, permitindo a virada do adversário. Calderano deveria seguir o exemplo dos chineses, que adotam a tática do menor esforço para ganhar pontos e, no final, empregar toda a energia para ganhar a partida. Tênis de Mesa não é uma corrida de 100m, e sim uma maratona. É só uma opinião de quem vê de fora várias partidas do Hugo Calderano.
