✅ Learn more about the Lenovo Yoga Book 9i at Best Buy today! go.magik.ly/ml/1txgh/ - this video is sponsored by Best Buy What's up everyone?! I hope this overview of the Lenovo Yoga Book 9i was helpful. Did I cover what you wanted to know? What else did you want to see or learn about? Would love to know what you think. Is this a laptop that you would use and why or why not. If you’re currently using something else, please share your experience with me. I am grateful in advance 🙏
I liked the review a lot and have subscribed, but since you asked... Even though you were pretty thorough on that keyboard, you did not mention whether it was backlit or not. No backlight means that I'll have to buy a separate kb that won't match nearly as nice but backlighting is mandatory, imho. I note that their web site shows many different sku's for different countries and some folks are showing videos with the lenovo "backlight adjustment icon" on this very space bar, so some folks do seem to be getting them. Maybe lenovo would make them available if an "influencer" mentioned how important they were in the USA, too. Maybe you could also mention to Best Buy that we'd like a 1tb model, too, asap. That's another deal breaker, imho. Well, you did ask! 😁 Thanks and cheers! 😎
I just got mine yesterday! I am in love! The screens are much clearer and bigger than I expected. I love the feel of the keyboard. I NEVER use a track pad and I HATE the way my laptop would rub my forearms when I was traveling. I'm a virtual bookkeeper and need more than one screen to work on a normal bases. I was constantly fighting my portable screen. I am so happy.
Damn, that thing looks insanely versatile and like a complete game changer for many different people. Your reviews are so on point I just found your channel and watched like 30 videos in a row. Thanks for everything you are sharing!
I purchased this early on and I'm just fascinated by the dual screens. It's fairly fast though it does stutter some. The battery life is decent/good considering it has two screens. But to be honest I think this is perfect for a) people who absolutely need two large screens, b) those who can use it in an office, hotel room, or home office setup. But to be honest I actually found it cumbersome at times. It's just way to big for using both screens on an airplane. And it even seemed kinda weird using it in a coffee shop. And then the price - it's very expensive. So, I ended up going with the Asus Zenbook duo. I can use it in dual screen laptop form whenever it's open and the second screen with the keyboard is a real second screen unlike the 9i when the keyboard is attached. It's actually the perfect size for what I need a second screen for. And I paid less than $700.
You keep posting the same Asus Zenbook Duo better than Lenovo Yoga Book 9i comment on all these RUclips review videos. Pretty clear you have NEVER owned this particular laptop AND you are just Trolling for Asus.
Similar to typing on a tablet. I essentially would only use it for short communications or if I’m watching RUclips or surfing the web. If I’m taking notes, writing email, doing research, etc. - I always want the physical keyboard. Hope that helps.
I’m definitely ordering the 1TB model ASAP. Random questions, if you were to reinstall windows wouldn’t there need to be special drivers form Lenovo? Or if you reinstalled windows would they automatically be downloaded and installed? I was just wondering about clearing up the bloat-wear from Lenovo and if you needed to reset the pc?
Hey .... Nice video thanks for sharing Can you connect more screens like we do from ports? Also can you please explain how did you connect portable display at 10:30 in video? Cheers mate ... Love from India ❤
Do the fans kick in with daily use? Thermals are very important for me. Also, do you find screen size being small with 13"? As a student, often times I will have to use it as a one screen and I though it would be too small for that. What do you think?
@@TechGearTalk Maybe, I think two screens for me would be fun and I would definitely use it but for my wife, she uses two screens for work all the time and I can see this totally working for her. I got the surface duo for super cheap and thought it would be something to fool around with. Now it's become my daily driver and I can't imagine going back to a bar phone.
Next one is Motorola Yoga Phone aftet the Thinkphone 😊. It would be better than the Surface because Levono has more experience making hardware and with Android.
Even better than asus zenbook duo in terms of screen real estate, except that the lenovo yogabook 9i does not have graphic card. But still an amazing laptop. Really hope the chip technology with advance further so that it will give a better performance & battery life.
Hi, how do you record your voice for RUclips videos on this since it doesn't have a headphone jack. I believe the Bluetooth headphones don't work so well for recording on windows?
I had one and it was sluggish and slow as hell. I don't know if I had a faulty version or what but I couldn't even factory reset the thing. I took it back to Best Buy and got my money back.
In the review, it scored (surprisingly) very high in both. People are saying it gets 9.5 hours with both screens on and 12+ hours with the "laptop" mode only using 1.25 screens.
Thanks for the reply. That new Yoga Book 9i is very interesting. You said it has 3 Thunderbolt 4 ports but the mouse dongle is a USB device. How did you make it work with the laptop?
@@TechGearTalk I’m a visual effects artist and I trade in the market and forex. I need screen real estate. I built a dual 4K external monitor setup with my MacBook Pro, triple screens. Works great but needs to be assembled and disassembled every time. A 16/17 inch Yoga Book with more horsepower would be great.
Can someone tell me why anyone would use a trackpad on a touchscreen laptop with pen support? Both are literally a thousand times faster, as is using a mouse.
So people laughed at LG's detachable Dual Screen case for their V50/G8X/V60/Velvet flagship smartphone because foldable screen smartphones is "better" (which always never has been at all), and yet overwhelming praise this thing? My goodness, such hypocrisy from the so-called "techies" and "enthusiasts".

I’m so happy that you’re happy - Sarah!!! Thank you so much for dropping by and sharing!
Any update on this? 🫡😊
That's a great looking laptop, and I really like the idea of having two monitors in a compact package for travel.
That dual display really does up productivity on the go. And it is nice to have a movie/video playing while I'm surfing the web :D

Nice and crisp review, have ordered one for my daughter, she is super excited to use it
Thank you for the kind words!!!
Darn Lenovo really stepping up their game with this machine have to say I’m excited for what the future holds.
It’s a real shift in approach. Excited as well!

Kinda cool, right?!
Great video. How is the typing experience on the virtual keyboard?

Hi, mr. Great video. Will we get a Lenovo Tab Extreme review? Have a nice day.
I hope so - soon!

That a great question… I’m actually not sure. Seems like you’d have to get something from Lenovo - doesn’t it?

I want to make it a 4 display setup if it is possible? Can you tell me about it?

I have a surface duo and with the latest updates I really like it. Having two screens has been awesome. Kinda reminds me of this
Do you think that two screens is something you have to see in real-life and use - in order to appreciate?

Good thinking. Would be cool to see some ARM processors.
Please explain what is wrong with this laptop's CPU and battery life.
Both are outstanding which is why no one who owns it is complaining.
I really really want this 😩😩
Appreciate you watching! It's different right?!
@@TechGearTalk indeed, it is!
I always like seeing companies try new approaches.
Nice video nice to watch and nice review 😊
Just bought this one . OMG i love it .
So glad you like it. I appreciate you contributing to the community!
Do the fans kick in with regular use?
FYI - BestBuy was only selling the 500GB storage version and Lenovo kept the 1TB to themselves
I want this so badly.
Excellent as usual
Thanks so much Joseph 🙏🏻

You can get a USB c adapter for your 3.5mm headphone jack on your headphones
Why don't you use a standardized battery test like PC Mark 10?
Can the screens be used as external monitors for a macbook or another pc?
Watching ninjago? You have a good taste!
Good catch!
i've never wanted something so bad
What would you use it for?
Could do with a better cpu but I want one!
Great with a split keyboard! I use the Moonlander.
Have you checked out Dygma?
Please explain what is wrong with this CPU?
Did you bought this laptop or received a unit from lenovo for review?

Troll Alert. There are ZERO "sluggish" laptops in 2024 which is why you didn't provide ANY evidence.

2,500-3k?? Naa I’m good. I’ll just buy a really good portable monitor.. 🤷🏻♂️

Apple doesn't even know how to make a laptop with a touchscreen and pen support🤣😂🤣

Congrats!
MacBook is better

MacBooks are 20th century laptops 🤣😂🤣
