Kerning is absolutely so important in the design world. Interestingly enough you can find great design tutorials on RUclips from all of these RUclipsrs with great ideas, but the problem is none of them understands the importance of kerning their display type. It really does depict the difference between a trained and educated graphic designer from a freelancer who learned from fiddling around.

Great training and I'm happy these important notions are still in the teaching. I may not fully agree on how thigh the spaces should be between some pairs of letters. Nevertheless, Miss Strizver objective aims at the same goal: help young designers to space better each characters in typography. I appreciate also the various examples she uses in her exposé to help to comprehend on how to look at kerning and white space between letters.
