However, the difference with AI and the reason Elon et al are so worried, is its ability to evolve beyond our wildest dreams.The world has bad actors. The internet in the wrong hands is like a hand grenade. AI in nefarious hands is akin to a nuclear bomb.
Well within lots of work we can initiate AI within the right habds. If it becomes extensively into the wrong hands we can instantly elimunate. The key is that we can use AI but there must be boundaries from it be too powerful
I don’t think it’s Super AI that we should fear. But the person who created it, and whether they’re cause is malevolent or benevolent.

@@maxwellquipey1 Hello, the story is "To the stars" by Hieronym. Even though it's based on another existing work, its universe can easily be read without prior context. Ya can find it on AO3.
On my comment I make a reference to the setting of the novel, where humans live with AI, because of this, humans have certain modifications that allow them to interact with them but some activities require more power than a single human could have. For example, at one point a space ship is under attack and all the humans and AI aboard turn into some kind of low "hive mind", everyone aware of everyone but still retaining the individuality.
At other point it's explained that if the emergency mode is high enough (think of it as DEFCON levels) "all the members of the Directorate merge into one super-Representative: Governance, this containing every human and AI representative,thus turning the government into a Technocracy, that so far, it only imitated"

This video is actually very serious. Our law makers today are unaware of the rapid advances in technology. It is vital that we create laws that heavily regulate the use of AI. For example, AI should only be used for specialized purposes with no communication to other AI. AI should never, under any circumstances, be weaponized. AI should never be given the ability to feel or produce their own philosophies and become conscious. Doing so would cause a complex ethical dilemma. AI should not be allowed to make decisions for humans. A humanoid AI should have limited computing power not exceeding that of the human brain by a specified threshold. There are many more regulations that should be established and enforced in a very clear and technical manner. There has to be something we can do about this before it is too late.

@@unitechs1213 Well If we succeed to replicate human brain inside a computer it would be smart because it could use 100% of its CPU's making its processing abilities very fast. Like for a human reading a long wikipedia page takes hours for a AI it would only take milliseconds. Human brain is smart but we cannot use its full potential unlike AI. And when AI will be created the AI will find a way to make 100x better CPU's then the new AI using those 100x more powerful CPU's will find a way to make even more powerful CPU's and so on. meaning the AI will become basicly Gods after a couple of years
