This raises an interesting question. If becoming a cyborg is truly efficient and the right way forward in terms of material progress, WHY aren’t rich people the first ones in line?
Maybe they enjoy the "pleasures of the flesh" a bit too much?

I love cyborg
Our current road blocks are mobile power sources small enough to be comfortable while strong enough to power equipment for atleast 24 hours. The second block is integration to the nervous system. The human body is complex and will resist augmentation treating it as an infection or foreign object. I believe the first real step in human evolution is cybernetically enhanced genes. Creating a perfect child every time with no naturally ocuring defects. The means no technology inside of your body but cybernetics altered your developing embryo. Current humans will not enjoy the new tech, only the unborn ones.
It hit me hard when Neil said ," we should all start focusing on changing ourselves,rather than changing our planet!"😢

@@florianschneider3982 because it makes sense. Everybody has their own personal preferences and if we individuals can stick to working on ourselves without trying to change everything else to our personal tastes, most of the issues we are currently facing in the world will go away.

@@TheLifeofRiley0 You are partly right. We do need to focus on changing our behaviors for the greater good of the planet. But there’s nothing wrong with changing some things to meet our personal taste as you put it if it’s from a whole body representing the people if that makes sense to you. For example, if the Govt.(body representing the people) wants people to change to fit their tastes(like certain laws) if it actually benefits all of us and the planet for the greater good. If it’s just for personal gain and doesn’t benefit anyone then it’s selfish and will create issues like you said. But the better thing would be if people would actually learn to respect the fact that people can have their own opinions and that we don’t have to agree on everything. If the media would give actual facts and NOT opinions like they do and if political parties would work together to represent everyone and not just for their own party it would help get rid of many problems. Now I’m not talking about having the Govt. having everyone follow one party or stuff like that and create communism, a total dictatorship, socialism and whatnot. That’s where people get confused and think that it creates a utopia which is so far off track when we all do the exact same thing or try to have the Govt. take care of us. Like how people want the Govt. to take over the medical side and create one universal healthcare(at least in the states). People don’t understand that if we had that then the taxes would have to be raised on everyone to help pay for it. Same goes for free college, free housing, etc. Stuff just can’t be given to you people. People want the Govt. to take care of them and that’s not how it should work. They don’t want to take any responsibility for their own actions(like BLM) and create bigger problems. We should be able to take care of ourselves but have the Govt. help us in certain things instead. That’s the whole point of Govt. They represent the people. But that’s the downside of being human. We want everything our way and are stubborn as hell. It’s time to bring back personal responsibility, morals, ethics and principles. It’s time to bring back God into the equation, stop having a broken family unit and to get rid of all these immoral acts that people think it’s ok when it’s not. Time to get rid of all this political correctness bullshit as well. That is killing us too. So in short, we do need to change ourselves but some things should be changed to personal tastes if actually benefits all of us and the planet for the greater good. We can’t change everything but we need to start working together.
