So exciting seeing the guys take on some of the guys who have been around the scene for a while. Goosebumps watching the brothers go at it. And so emotional when you slowed it down when he beat Keith. So good man.
Just had my first tournament as a White Belt and lost every match. It was one of the best experiences of my life and just makes me appreciate life even more! Seeing what you guys do brings it to a whole new level and you make it look easy. I'll never be at the level you guys are at but I'll be damned if I give up.
They didn't win so they don't get video time. (Just kidding, Gavin has been out of town for work and we didn't get his thoughts in time. Alex is competing soon and will get her chance to recap then for her video).
Love that Greg asked the ref to move them back to the middle during the AJ-Deandre match… I think more coaches need to be asking the ref for this reset. ADCC’s policy of letting matches go on the mat can be questioned by coaches and competitors.
@@travis1687 so open guard, seated guard, butterfly are all lame, so your fine with jumping full guard or pulling half guard. If the top guy would engage and not run away the puller wouldnt have to scoot around. Say we all agree buttscooting is lame, isnt running from a seated opponent more of a biatch move. Imagine showing your match to your non bjj friends and calling the buttscooter lame but you are running scared from someone dragging their ass.
hey, i had 2 questions... 1st question: i want to do carry workouts (for example farmer carries) and i do a push pull legs workout split... but i dont know which muscle group carries are clasified as so i need help on which days i can put carries in a push pull legs split... can you help me with that please? and 2nd question... I train strength exercises but i want to do isometric strength, cardio, grip strength, and explosivness... but i dont know where to put them in my program... do you have recomendations on which days i should do them in a push pull legs program or a upper lower split program?
It's really not that complicated. Get them in on the day that makes sense for you. If you use it as a warm up I think leg days makes sense. Because they work the grip quite heavily I'd maybe do them 2 days away from the pull workout which would be legs. But you do you. On the cardio side, any sport would do. If you want to do specific. A 30 min run is more than enough. Do it in the AM on any day. Hope that helps.
Whoever edited in the hajime no ippo for the brothers' match deserves a raise!
Rod, you're killing it! The audio, the timing, the font, the editing all coming together to give a uniquely awesome viewing experience
The fact that the brothers were watching Hajime no Ippo is so sick

9:20 great mindset
Taking great and making it world class. Props to the system and the effort these guys have put in.
Beautiful stuff, richly deserved

Hajime No Ippo cut so sick
8:15 mad
4:59 Love Gavin's movement here
Loved when he heel hooked his own brother and didnt even help him up.
Let's go! But what about Alex and Gavin?

@@rodrigopereira4014alright 😄, any chance of a video from enigma on the weekend? Always look forward to your videos! Keep them coming 🎉
@@lennieleng9679 I wasn't able to go to Enigma so no video unfortunately, next one will be that next finisher's event coming up

Huge win for standard. Congrats you all.
Also, did Alex come back from retirement?
Alex is graduating school soon and is back training. She's competing at the end of the month.
@@rodrigopereira4014 great. She was very fun to watch
❤❤❤
dropping to your butt and playing footsie should be so heavily penalized that no one wants to do it anymore.
Sound mad cause someone keeps heelhooking you, if its such a bad position you should have no problem defeating it.
@@timothycarey3883 I have 0 problems with heel hooks. Butt scooting is the lame part.
@@travis1687 so you only like top players or hate half of jiujitsu.
@@timothycarey3883 Nope. Guard is dope leg locks are dope. Starting a match by scooting on your butt like a dog to start a match is lame.
