Earlier in the week propagation was dreadful on HF. Like a complete blackout. I work CW all the time yet there was nothing to hear. But, i started tuning through 11 m after finding nobody on 10 m ham band, and ended up have a couple of fantastic SSB QSOs with a couple of ops in Ireland, while set up in my back garden with my QRP kit just outside Brighton. It made my day!
@@EnthusiastSteveM6WVV the guys i chatted with were great too, none of this quick 59 stuff, but a proper convo. Really shows it's worth keeping an open mind, being frequency agile, and enthusiastic about all radio.
