The Cherokee has an available two-speed power transfer unit (standard on Trailhawk) which multiplies gearing for dramatically better off road performance. The Compass and Cherokee without the power transfer unit will run out of power much sooner, especially on steep, rocky inclines.
I DEEPLY REGRET buying my 2020 Cherokees. Learn from my MISTAKES. My 1st 2020 Cherokee was a lemon and my 2nd 2020 Cherokee was not built right and neither Jeep or the selling dealer Bob Poynter Columbus will make it right . BUYER BEWARE do NOT BUY a Cherokee or trust a Jeep dealer. Just Empty Every Pocket is a TRUE acronym.
Not concerned w/ the mid/compact situation. This was a great decision video. I like both, especially the trailhawk and overland trims. Deciding on what to buy my wife. Comparison for offroad performance (preference) would've been great. Again... awesome video review.
I agree. Who cares about features when the reliability of these vehicles are not that good. The 2.4L Tigershark engine is complete rubbish. They sacrifice reliability, dependability and cost effectiveness for fuel economy. Let me ensure you, replacing an engine is never going to be covered by the money you saved on fuel. The transmission isn't reliable or very responsive as well. The electronics on these vehicles are complete garbage as well. It's nice when they work but they are expensive when they fail and fail they do, a lot. Chrysler wasn't known for quality to begin with and now they are a part of Fiat, which isn't known for quality either. Here's what I have to say about all of this. If you want a vehicle that is good.. look to Toyota and Ford for trucks and as far smaller vehicles.. look to Honda and Toyota. Do not go by these "review" videos. Never be brand loyal, when the three brands I listed start showing lack of quality, reliability and dependability, I'll stop recommending them. If you come up to me in a BMW, Mercedes, Jeep, ect... I am not going to be impressed by the money you payed for the car or the money you make at your job but by your stupidity :-)
I bought a 2019 compass limited 4x4. I’m beyond happy with it!
Low key thought I was watching an episode of the Infographics Show
Might be the same guy!
Gus Vences it is
Why did you compare the Cherokee trail hawk to a normal compass ... doesn’t compass come in trailhawk as well?
Yes

Actually, the compass has better seating capacity then the Cherokee, and it is also more comfortable in the back compared to the Cherokee.

My 2020 Cherokee Trailhawk is one sweet SUV, love the quiet smooth ride. Jeep did this SUV right!

Can you share more on what went wrong?

Your wife doesnt get to choose what she drives?
I am having a second thought about the 2017 compass as i see that the 2017 jeep cherokee looks beautiful
And price???????
A new compass runs for around 25-28k not sure about the cherokee
this guy sounds like Jeff from American Dad
If it hasn't been said its not and its 4x4 drive
Cherokee is not in the small class.
So buy a Grand Cherokee then ok
cherokee is better
Cherokee is mid sized while Compass compact size!
@Yanni Looking good … you sir, have a firm grip on the obvious
Compass is not a real Jeep. It's a Fiat with Jeep name on it !!!
not a good review
