This is so wholesome. My mother was in Nursing profession and most of her friends were Keralites and we celebrated with them and they were always there for us. What a lovable community.
I am from Central India - Chattisgarh and i am blessed with my Mallyali friends , they are a part of my family and i am there’s and i wait for Onam with same excitement as for Deewali ❤❤
The hosts are soo open hearted and the guest -our akangsha have such energy tht puts everyone at ease❤❤❤loved loved it... I'm a kachari from assam n we also have two piece sarees in northeast culture like mekhela chador, rignai rima etc.. I got excited hearing the activities done during onam.. Would love to visit one day AND THANK YOU ok tested family... I lob uuu❤❤❤❤
This was so wholesome 🥹 My bestfriend is a malyali and she always gets me all sweets made at her home for Onam, and the feast they have at home is so filling😋 I've always loved how they dress up and prep for the festival and Neha looked so beautiful, loved her smile💓
Awesome Video. Really glad to see you taking part in the most important and biggest festival of Keralites - Onam. It was truly overwhelming to see you donning the traditional attire and enjoying that delicious Onam Sadhya.
Fantastic job by OK Tested for always introducing us to new cultures & traditions! ❤️ This was such a heartwarming video seeing the Onam customs since people like me, from the North are often unaware of these things. It's a long festive season lined up ahead OK Tested team, do try & cover as much as you can...🤗☺️
banana leaf eating hot food in this leaf is very healthy and hygienic. While the hot food is served on the leaf, rich nutrients from the leaf is emitted, which infuses with the food and eventually we intake it as we eat the food
I lived in Karnataka for 3 years in my graduation days and I loved it still sometimes remember those nostalgic days❤ love Southern India from uttrakhand ❤
The couple is so cute ,they both are so so stunning. Also, i just love malayali accent. Im in love with their culture. I am a gujarati, but if given choice fo be anyone else, i would be a malayali for sure
Story behind Onam : There was An Asura Emperor Known as Mahabali grandson of Prahalda. He was a generous king. He possessed amrita which he bought death asuras back to life. He conquered both Heaven and Earth after many wars. Devas (Gods) pleaded Lord Vishnu to getback heaven. So Lord Vishnu, disguised as a poor Brahmin, Lord Vamana, went to King Bali and asked for three feet of land. Bali agreed to this and Lord Vishnu transformed into his original Vishwaroopam placing one feet on earth, other on Heaven. When he was doubtful where to place his third feet, King Bali understood his fate and asked to place his third feet on his head. Thus Lord Vishnu, placed his third foot on King Bali which plummeted King Bali into Paathal(Underground) Lord Vishnu was pleased for his devotion and granted him with immortality.(Chiranjeevi) He also said that he could visit his kingdom for a while once in a year. So this became a traditional festival called Onam. (P.S : Apologize me for any mistakes 😅)
I agree 100% with Akanksha…that we should get along with different cultural community and learn their cultural history and celebrate over a good feast..India is rich in diversity of so many beautiful cultures known and unknown…and take the opportunity to understand each other and respect each other…once we learn to live together with open heart..there shall be no racism ,hatred or superiority complex “ feeling “among us and that way we can all strengthen our bond and keep the country together ….I personally like South Indians…they are very humanly compassionate and welcoming! Happy Onam 🪷
Ok tested videos are so wholesome. They make you feel like as though you are traveling around the world. Giving us tours of especially different Indians culture and foods breaking the stereotype. ❤
Oh, I love such videos which have just pure love and simplicity! Thank you OK Tested team for giving us a feel of our beautiful South India. I hope I could visit there someday and experience this love in person.🩷🤍❤️
One I like to add there should be more talk with Nani coz ur celebrating culture and Nani dadi can give u more so request u plz introduce old people also cameraman I think satyam was there he only asked her just a suggestion
i know comparison is the death of art or whatever but i have to say, this is so much better than what Antil is doing on the Urban Guide. those videos are so cringeworthy. this is so natural and good.
This is my India ❤️ strength in diversity ☺️🙏 I was born in Kerala and feel blessed.Aaj haalat alag hai Kerala ki lekin Ekta mein hi khushi hai, the religion conversion factories are useless if we are all one 🇮🇳❤️
Dear, you are most welcome to stay with me at my house in Kerala as long as you want and let us find the so called religion conversion factories I have spent 49 years of my life in Kerala and yet to find it.. Bcus I guess we Kerala Hindus are Zandu people who can't see, surely your perspective might change that.
I have lived there for more than 20 years of my life and yet to find a religion conversation factory, how come only North Indians living 1000s miles away find it one fine day 😅. Let me guess WhatsApp forward from a trusted source 😂
Make friends with malayalees.. we have so much in common with bengalis.. love for fish, border saris ( red in yours, gold in ours) , good literacy rate , and football ⚽️
I haven't seen any south indian blogger or channel apricating north Indian culture or tradition..... we also have lot to share and explore ... come to UP/Bihar/UK/HP/Haryana/Rajasthan
