Had to comment lil Bangalorean inside me is dying to explain - Bisi Bele bath literally translates to Bisi means hot, Bele means lentils and bath means Rice, the bisi bele bath which we get here is a very liquidy consistency, and its just yam and its served with kara bondi and raita.. Karnataka has many different flavored rice types and are all very delicious..

Being from Karnataka I am happy that you showed bisi bele bhat and puliyogare because they are some underrated delicious food and one of the comfort food of karnataka and I want you guys to come here in Karnataka and try these and many other dishes made by rice..😇🥰
Very happy to see you guys trying Karnataka dishes. Though Bisi Bele Bhaath dint look authentic. as Akansha rightly mentioned dish actually is served in slight liquid form here in Karnataka. And Puliogre it's most common breakfast of Karnataka. 💖💖💖💖

Banana leaves are cut in specific size&shape and fit inside the tube before putting rice It is then served with 'gud' or milk(must add sugar) or thickened milk( kheersa/rabdi) or begun bhaja or maybe anything
