Very useful info for anyone wanting to master Live. I think many newcomers assume session view is just a mixer view and ignore its features. The session view was my introduction to Live, and I still prefer using it as the starting point for sketching ideas before bringing them into the arrangement.
Yeah I really want to start using the session view more and more. Hence the videos on it haha! The more I explore, the more amazing and versatile I find it. Great starting point for sketching ideas.
Just starting out with Ableton, I used to use FL Studio and it feels like I somewhat have to start from zero. Your channel is basically all I'm looking for, including DnB. So you've earned a new subscriber.
Amazing! I think you'll find the transition really easy. At least I did when I moved from Logic X to Ableton. I found the UI of Ableton great to work with. Thank you for your sub. Welcome to the channel :)
Hey Becky, first of all I would like to thank you for the wonderful and very helpful tutorial this morning I was struggling some while doing some recording and I searched for “How to set up your time line before recording in ableton live 11” scrolled through the results seen your video and instantly selected it after watching all I can say is wow and thank you so very much for your help with this you are very talented with this type of stuff and I will definitely be checking out more of your content, Just wanna wish you the best of luck with your career and dreams and that things go the best for you as they possibly can, God Bless 🙏🏻❤️
Just read this! aww thank you so much. It certainly has been a long road but it's finally all starting to come together and I couldn't be prouder. Thanks for taking the time to write this. Glad you got what you needed from the video ❤
Pioneer HRM-6's but the band literally just snapped so you won't be seeing them on the next few videos haha You can find my full kit list in the description of the videos.
Can you automate recording when record from session view to arrangement view? Meaning…if I wanted to record the 1st scene twice and then automatically go to the 2nd and then to the 3 scene?
@@BeckySaifMusic Thank you for this helpful video, which explained how one can record vocals whilst at the same time jamming in session view to record everything into arrangement. I didn't know I had to disable the exclusive arm button in preferences, what a life saver! :-) Thanks again.
Great video, straight to the point!
