My favorite quote (10:18) because it's a pretty good representation of what's wrong with our current society. Turn up these great tracks, get yourself a large vanilla latte, drive at high speeds really over caffeinated and then pull over and do something really empowering like eat an exercise bar or have a sports drink, even though you are not actually exercising or playing a sport. But Hey! that's the american way right? wearing the clothes and consuming the products of some idealised version of yourself.

A place thats magic. Rock music has the power to change a lot of things, we won the Cold War with a guitar solo I'm pretty sure. But the 80s were kind of fuzzy, so were the 90s for that matter, but let's all medicate now with some music shall we?" 10:18: "Turn up these great tracks, get yourself a large vanilla latte, drive at high speed really over caffeinated, and then pull over and do something really empowering, like eat an exercise bar, or have a sports drink. Even though you're not exercising, or playing a sport, but hey that's the American way right? Wearing the clothes and consuming the products of some idealized version of yourself" 10:42: "Things aren't always black and white, there's always a middle ground in life. Sometimes things aren't what they appear. Plan ahead, get a good divorce attorney, and run for the hills at the first sign of trouble. Don't drink, eat right, get plenty of sleep, and die of boredom. Los Santos Rock Radio is about seizing life by the horns, and getting gored in the process" 11:06: "Los Santos Rock Radio. Songs about having a good time. Songs you can turn up, while you play some racquetball or squash, and hug it out, and tussle each others hair, and walk with your hand in each other's back pocket, and you share an ice cream cone and conceive the sun. It's about leaving out the bad parts of life, and only celebrating the good" 11:28: "I'd say trust that voice inside your head. Trust that voice that speaks to you and tells you where to go, tells you where your heart should go. It might give you an order of protection, it might give you a divorce, it might get you a #1 hit on the radio, sometimes those three things equal the same thing. Of course if there's more than one voice in your head, trust the one that says. I need residential care right now I'm losing my fucking mind" 11:52: "Los Santos how are you? I'm looking into your eyes. What keeps us here? What keeps us here in this city? Why don't we just move up north somewhere more sane? Or go into the mountains and make some new friends? I'll tell you what keeps us here, love. Love and this music, Los Santos Rock Radio" 12:11: "This reminds you. We're all sentimental fools. We're setting sail on a boat, San Andreas is like its own ship, heading into the sunset with a great yacht rock track or some 70s jam playing just loud enough that you can still have a conversation, and there are mixed drinks, and spritzers, and we're all young and nobody's arguing about health insurance. I'm alright baby, nobody worry about me" 12:35: "What do you say we sail out to where the world the world only belongs to you and me. We built this city on beginnings. Don't lose the smooth, let's dig this West Coast vibe, let's sit at a cafe by the beach in 60 degree weather, but with flaming torch things to keep us warm. This is the desert, it gets cold at night, I see your soul glowing across from me. Either that or maybe you've got radiation poisoning. Both probably" 13:01: "Throw out your mobile phone, get rid of your MP3 Player, shut down your Bleeter page, and your Lifeinvader page. There's only you and me and this radio and my guitar. Sounds to smooth down your frayed nerves. Let's pull out of this boat slip and cruise the harbor, and let everyone know there's more to this existence than what you can boast about online. We're getting better America, we really are, we can do this. Come with me to the ocean" 13:26: "Now this is music to keep moving to. If you can't keep moving get a wind machine. If you can't get a wind machine, get a convertible. If you can't get a convertible, run really fast down a highway so the wind is whipping through your hair, and people are shouting at us, you're crazy! And yes, yes we are. So keep on Los Santos Rock Radio" 13:47: "Well there's lots of talent in this town. But the real creative talent, is the accountants. They can make magic you know. They'll keep telling you that your movie lost money, your album lost money, your tour is losing money, while all that money's flowing to someone somewhere else. You really want to make it in this town? Don't pick up a guitar, pick up a calculator and a spreadsheet. It's so much easier to sing about heartbreak, and love and life when someone's fleecing you dry. But we got something they don't have. We have the music" 14:19: "If you think coming to Los Santos and being a star is the answer to your problems, you are very much mistaken. What people don't realize is that being a star, will probably just get you a table at a restaurant, or great seats to a show. It doesn't really solve the soul-crushing experience of being a human being. No sailboat, or wind chime, or sports car, or 18 year old model can do that, I know for sure. Only you can do that, and if you really listen to this music, you'll figure out how" 14:49: "Question, is it better to die on a 80-foot yacht with a 20 year old, or a 20-foot yacht with an 80 year old? That doesn't really matter, you're on a boat, and they're not. Let's face it, women love long hair, guitars, and boats and soft rock ballads, and sitting on a bearskin rug by a fire, taking all your money. These are the things that we're thinking about right now while we listen to this music" 15:13: "It's nonstop power pop, coming to you from the bridge here on the good ship, the good yacht that is Los Santos Rock Radio. Classics by classics for classics. You get the picture, it's another classic. Think pop collars, sunsets, a beautiful boat, some of those sailing shoes that French people wear, tanning oil, and none of it remotely dated or tacky, as far as I know" 15:38: "This is as good as it gets, the music of the 70s & 80s. And if you're digging this, don't forget to check out what the guys and girls of the 70s & 80s are still doing today" 15:48: "We all dream of sailing into the sunset. Of course remember if you're sailing into the sunset and you sail fast enough, the sun never sets. Of course fast enough in that instance would be approximately 850 miles an hour. Which would be a very fast yacht. You lucky lucky person! You've got a sunset to chase, go get it!" 16:09: "We're all stars in modern Los Santos, everyone. You've got a voice, you've got no dignity but you've got a voice. Go sing for that creepy dude on his reality show. If you win, all your troubles will be over. So go make a fool of yourself. Go on tour to the worst places in America, sleep with the most desperate groupies. It's the modern dream, all the glory, and none of the work. Now that's the American dream. What the hell happened to us you may well ask. Well we're asking that too here on Los Santos Rock Radio" 16:43: "Let's keep it classic here in Los Santos, the land of which nothing decomposes, not the music, not the buildings, not the cars, and certainly not the people. They've got so much plastic in them, they'll be around for 20,000 years" 16:56: "Power pop and classic rock from the time power pop and classic rock actually meant something, or at least try to mean something. Isn't it better to try and fail? Rather than being some kind digital salesman hawking empty promises with a good beat? I mean where's the heart? Where's the honesty? Where's the music? It's here" 17:17: "Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he'll buy a yacht, leave his wife, and sail into the sunset with girls he picked up the night before. We're very nautical here on Los Santos Rock Radio. We're about girls, and fishing, and sunset" 17:35: "Life began in the ocean. We crawled out of the murky depths. Evolved into bipedal beings. And invented important things like guitars, and hairspray, and things you were on your wrist that beep when you get too fat. These are the songs that remind us all of the timelessness of great rock and roll. In 100 years, when the seas have wipe everything out, we'll all live on boats, and listen to these great tracks" 18:03: "Are you ready for the journey ahead? I've got a nice bottle of Pinot, some wine coolers, a 180 proof rum, and a guitar. So as we sail into the sunset, the last thing you'll remember is the sound of my voice yelling at a police helicopter, nobody is going to stop us! The 80s will live on forever" 18:24: "This is the music that will set you free. Free as a bird soaring in the heavens, taking a dump on people that can't fly, less fortunate people, and then that bird flies into the windmill, and is dead. Isn't that lovely? But we need that electricity to power our neon signs, and reality TV shows, and to charge our phones so we can tell everyone on Bleeter what to be outraged at. Let's have less outrage, and more music"
18:53: "Yeah well every year there's a new fad diet. The Vice City diet, extreme paleo. I love my all gluten diet, but the yacht of life is about the journey, not the destination, and sometimes you're really hungry, and sometimes you're getting sick over the side. I'm really taking this boat thing to a whole new level, stay with me now, well there might be more fish in the sea, but you don't wanna eat any of them because of the radioactive waste floating towards San Andreas" 19:19: "This is Los Santos Rock Radio, the flagship station for a state that's out of water, so the mudslides have to the fires out. Welcome to paradise folks. You're stuck in traffic, and you're going nowhere, enjoy the ride" Quotes about the time of day 19:32: "Let's have a great night tonight. You, me, and everyone else at the hot tub party" 19:36: "Hello, it's going to be a great evening. I got the tracks you need to make it through a great night" 19:42: "I just love the nighttime Los Santos. I always have" 19:45: "These are some great tracks for driving home from a bar on a night like this" 19:49: "To the young and restless and bored out there tonight, this station is for you" 19:54: "Good morning, you just woke up in a wrecked convertible. Last night must have been amazing" 19:59: "It's morning, and you're already covered in sweat from these fantastic tracks" 20:03: "Let's make this day special. Let's try not to black out this time okay?" 20:07: "If you're just tuning in, hello and good morning to you all!" 20:10: "Hope this morning's treating you just right" 20:10: "Hope this morning's treating you just right" 20:14: "Good morning out there, caffeinate early and often" Quotes about commercials 20:18: "Commercials make the world go around as much as power pop hits do" 20:21: "Time for a commercial for all you guys" 20:23: "I got to go trim my beard, let's go to a commercial" 20:26: "I've got to take a quick break, don't go anywhere at all" 20:29: "I love you but I think we need to take a break. Things aren't working out" 20:32: "Let's take a little break, clean up that mascara, and make it through this life shall we?" 20:37: "If it were hundreds of years ago, we'd have to barter chickens. But in this day and age, you just listen to commercials. A fair trade off I'd say" Quotes about news breaks 20:45: "Hey let's power down for a second, listen to some news, and we'll be right back" 20:48: "Don't leave me! We're gonna do some more great music right after this news" 20:52: "Just gonna head over to the news, so don't do anything" 20:55: "Let's head up to the news now" 20:56: "I think we need to take a news break. Sounds like fun eh?" 20:59: "I'm getting word that we have to take a news break" And there you have it, enjoy your day/night
I always listen to los santos rock radio when playing any of the three characters and his voice is so smooth and soothing. Makes the gaming experience a lot better.
14:19 this one kinda spoke to me on a deeper level because captain loggins is genuinely talking about how the journey matters, not your destination. i should really appreciate things that i have now before they’re gone. that is all.
I never realized how much wit, satire, social commentary and philosophy there was in these - brilliant to listen too. Only GTA can achieve this level of detail.
What about “ give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and he’ll leave his wife and buy a yacht and sail off to the sunset with girls he met the night before. We’re very naughtyical here on los santos rock radio we’re all about girls, and fishing and boats”?
17:41 " ...an invented things like guitars and hairspray and things you wear on your wrist that beep when you get too fat." I have to laugh every time I hear that line on the radio. 😂
Me too. Kenny should be a meditation guide for meditation videos. While relaxing music plays kenny should guide everyone to meditate. Hearing his voice and meditation music would be very relaxing. I wish he would do that but that's probably not gonna happen.
In the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC version of Grand Theft Auto V and Online: Interestingly, while “Circle in the Sand” by Belinda Carlisle was moved to Los Santos Rock Radio. This song appears to be due to a bug that scrambled after the track was completely missing from Non-Stop-Pop FM due to there being in-game files, showing that Cara was already being make two intros over to it’s song, especially since there are no intro comment lines for Kenny Loggins requesting Belinda Carlisle’s “Circle in the Sand”. (Rockstar Games will be scheduled to be patch the song back to appear on Non-Stop-Pop FM to be released some brand new gestures to it on the new generation consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X coming soon on 2021 with GTA V and Online to it.)
I had no idea Radio Gaga was even in this game until recently. That song hardly ever plays, at least not in my game. I usually get Baker Street, Black Velvet, I'm Free, Too Late for Goodbyes or any of the Bob Seger songs.
I swear, hearing Kenny Loggins' smooth voice giving me confusing and unclear life advice is almost therapeutic.
His voice is so good for this!!!

He’s now 70 years old and he sounds like he’s in his 20s! Kenny’s a pretty awesome singer!

1:29: "This is some feel good music right here! I'm your DJ Loggins, and let's go down the rabbit hole together what do you say?"

2:49: "You're sailing on the great ship, wistful nostalgia with Captain Loggins. Only it's not really a ship it's a yacht, and I'm not a captain. We're comrades! Memories are socialists"
2:59: "Who knew pop could have so much POWER!"
3:02: "Beautiful strangers, red sports cars, expensive vacations. Come on, who said the 80s were superficial?"
3:09: "Don't get depressed just cause you're getting old. I mean everyone gets older it's better than the alternative you know. I'm not talking about death, I mean comeback tours"
3:16: "Loggins here, keeping everything classic in classic Los Santos. The place that never changes, apart from the environment you destroyed that ain't coming back!"
3:24: "Power pop, and classic rock. Two sides of the same beautiful coin. The power and the glory of the music biz, ah yes. Sure it ain't much, but its better than being a judge on Fame or Shame"

3:53: "Keep the love alive, here on the bridge of the best yacht in town"
3:56: "Don't let reality get in the way of your dreams. You're living in a world of stolen water, and theme parks in the desert. Come on, reality is not your friend"

Quotes after a song's end
9:54: "Let's go to a place with no spell checks, no social media, and no selfies. A place thats magic. Rock music has the power to change a lot of things, we won the Cold War with a guitar solo I'm pretty sure. But the 80s were kind of fuzzy, so were the 90s for that matter, but let's all medicate now with some music shall we?"
10:18: "Turn up these great tracks, get yourself a large vanilla latte, drive at high speed really over caffeinated, and then pull over and do something really empowering, like eat an exercise bar, or have a sports drink. Even though you're not exercising, or playing a sport, but hey that's the American way right? Wearing the clothes and consuming the products of some idealized version of yourself"
10:42: "Things aren't always black and white, there's always a middle ground in life. Sometimes things aren't what they appear. Plan ahead, get a good divorce attorney, and run for the hills at the first sign of trouble. Don't drink, eat right, get plenty of sleep, and die of boredom. Los Santos Rock Radio is about seizing life by the horns, and getting gored in the process"
11:06: "Los Santos Rock Radio. Songs about having a good time. Songs you can turn up, while you play some racquetball or squash, and hug it out, and tussle each others hair, and walk with your hand in each other's back pocket, and you share an ice cream cone and conceive the sun. It's about leaving out the bad parts of life, and only celebrating the good"
11:28: "I'd say trust that voice inside your head. I need residential care right now I'm losing my fucking mind"
11:52: "Los Santos how are you? I'm looking into your eyes. What keeps us here? What keeps us here in this city? Why don't we just move up north somewhere more sane? Or go into the mountains and make some new friends? I'll tell you what keeps us here, love. Love and this music, Los Santos Rock Radio"
12:11: "This reminds you. I'm alright baby, nobody worry about me"
12:35: "What do you say we sail out to where the world the world only belongs to you and me. Both probably"
13:01: "Throw out your mobile phone, get rid of your MP3 Player, shut down your Bleeter page, and your Lifeinvader page. There's only you and me and this radio and my guitar. Sounds to smooth down your frayed nerves. Let's pull out of this boat slip and cruise the harbor, and let everyone know there's more to this existence than what you can boast about online. We're getting better America, we really are, we can do this. Come with me to the ocean"
13:26: "Now this is music to keep moving to. If you can't keep moving get a wind machine. If you can't get a wind machine, get a convertible. If you can't get a convertible, run really fast down a highway so the wind is whipping through your hair, and people are shouting at us, you're crazy! And yes, yes we are. So keep on Los Santos Rock Radio"
13:47: "Well there's lots of talent in this town. We have the music"
14:19: "If you think coming to Los Santos and being a star is the answer to your problems, you are very much mistaken. What people don't realize is that being a star, will probably just get you a table at a restaurant, or great seats to a show. It doesn't really solve the soul-crushing experience of being a human being. No sailboat, or wind chime, or sports car, or 18 year old model can do that, I know for sure. Only you can do that, and if you really listen to this music, you'll figure out how"
14:49: "Question, is it better to die on a 80-foot yacht with a 20 year old, or a 20-foot yacht with an 80 year old? That doesn't really matter, you're on a boat, and they're not. Let's face it, women love long hair, guitars, and boats and soft rock ballads, and sitting on a bearskin rug by a fire, taking all your money. These are the things that we're thinking about right now while we listen to this music"
15:13: "It's nonstop power pop, coming to you from the bridge here on the good ship, the good yacht that is Los Santos Rock Radio. Classics by classics for classics. You get the picture, it's another classic. Think pop collars, sunsets, a beautiful boat, some of those sailing shoes that French people wear, tanning oil, and none of it remotely dated or tacky, as far as I know"
15:38: "This is as good as it gets, the music of the 70s & 80s. And if you're digging this, don't forget to check out what the guys and girls of the 70s & 80s are still doing today"
15:48: "We all dream of sailing into the sunset. Of course remember if you're sailing into the sunset and you sail fast enough, the sun never sets. Of course fast enough in that instance would be approximately 850 miles an hour. Which would be a very fast yacht. You lucky lucky person! You've got a sunset to chase, go get it!"
16:09: "We're all stars in modern Los Santos, everyone. Well we're asking that too here on Los Santos Rock Radio"
16:43: "Let's keep it classic here in Los Santos, the land of which nothing decomposes, not the music, not the buildings, not the cars, and certainly not the people. They've got so much plastic in them, they'll be around for 20,000 years"
16:56: "Power pop and classic rock from the time power pop and classic rock actually meant something, or at least try to mean something. Isn't it better to try and fail? Rather than being some kind digital salesman hawking empty promises with a good beat? I mean where's the heart? Where's the honesty? Where's the music? It's here"
17:17: "Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he'll buy a yacht, leave his wife, and sail into the sunset with girls he picked up the night before. We're very nautical here on Los Santos Rock Radio. We're about girls, and fishing, and sunset"
17:35: "Life began in the ocean. We crawled out of the murky depths. Evolved into bipedal beings. And invented important things like guitars, and hairspray, and things you were on your wrist that beep when you get too fat. These are the songs that remind us all of the timelessness of great rock and roll. In 100 years, when the seas have wipe everything out, we'll all live on boats, and listen to these great tracks"
18:03: "Are you ready for the journey ahead? I've got a nice bottle of Pinot, some wine coolers, a 180 proof rum, and a guitar. So as we sail into the sunset, the last thing you'll remember is the sound of my voice yelling at a police helicopter, nobody is going to stop us! The 80s will live on forever"
18:24: "This is the music that will set you free.
I'm really taking this boat thing to a whole new level, stay with me now, well there might be more fish in the sea, but you don't wanna eat any of them because of the radioactive waste floating towards San Andreas"
19:19: "This is Los Santos Rock Radio, the flagship station for a state that's out of water, so the mudslides have to the fires out. Welcome to paradise folks. You're stuck in traffic, and you're going nowhere, enjoy the ride"
Quotes about the time of day
19:32: "Let's have a great night tonight. You, me, and everyone else at the hot tub party"
19:36: "Hello, it's going to be a great evening. I got the tracks you need to make it through a great night"
19:42: "I just love the nighttime Los Santos. I always have"
19:45: "These are some great tracks for driving home from a bar on a night like this"
19:49: "To the young and restless and bored out there tonight, this station is for you"
19:54: "Good morning, you just woke up in a wrecked convertible. Last night must have been amazing"
19:59: "It's morning, and you're already covered in sweat from these fantastic tracks"
20:03: "Let's make this day special. Let's try not to black out this time okay?"
20:07: "If you're just tuning in, hello and good morning to you all!"
20:10: "Hope this morning's treating you just right"
20:10: "Hope this morning's treating you just right"
20:14: "Good morning out there, caffeinate early and often"
Quotes about commercials
20:18: "Commercials make the world go around as much as power pop hits do"
20:21: "Time for a commercial for all you guys"
20:23: "I got to go trim my beard, let's go to a commercial"
20:26: "I've got to take a quick break, don't go anywhere at all"
20:29: "I love you but I think we need to take a break. Things aren't working out"
20:32: "Let's take a little break, clean up that mascara, and make it through this life shall we?"
20:37: "If it were hundreds of years ago, we'd have to barter chickens. But in this day and age, you just listen to commercials. A fair trade off I'd say"
Quotes about news breaks
20:45: "Hey let's power down for a second, listen to some news, and we'll be right back"
20:48: "Don't leave me! We're gonna do some more great music right after this news"
20:52: "Just gonna head over to the news, so don't do anything"
20:55: "Let's head up to the news now"
20:56: "I think we need to take a news break. Sounds like fun eh?"
20:59: "I'm getting word that we have to take a news break"
And there you have it, enjoy your day/night

@@thecactus2233 Bro typed out every single quote, bro is a real one
THANK YOU MAN, YOU ARE THE LEGEND
"Anything worth my love is worth the fight. 'I'm Free', by.. Me" Kenny Loggins 2013
Kenny Loggins' voice is so soothing to the ears, he made LSRR definitely my favorite radio station ever. Thank you Rockstar.
80 ft yatch with a 20 year old....every damn time mr loggins
TheCoastalGunner Kenny even sounds like he’s in his 20s.
In the end, who cares? You're on a boat, and theyre not!
I think the line should've been more like...
"Would you like to be with a 20-year-old on a 20ft boat or with a 50-year-old on a 50ft boat?"
I always listen to los santos rock radio when playing any of the three characters and his voice is so smooth and soothing. Makes the gaming experience a lot better.
18:25 is my favorite
14:19 this one kinda spoke to me on a deeper level because captain loggins is genuinely talking about how the journey matters, not your destination. i should really appreciate things that i have now before they’re gone. that is all.
That moment when Danger Zone is on the soundtrack
THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO DO THIS
2:19 one of my favorites
Mr. President "jet planes" haha, he's talking about top gun
I just realized he’s talking about footloose, top gun, and caddyshack
“I’m Captain Loggins and you’re on a cruise!”
lost innocence, jet planes, and goffers!
Let's hope Phil Collins will return as DJ Collins of Flash FM in GTA VI.
Calm. Badass. The best rock n roll host on gta series.

@@Il-Gigu cheers
4:53 THE INTRO TO MY FAVORITE SONG IN THIS STATION!
I love all of these, including "Its about leaving put the bad parts of life and only celebrating the good"
“Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, then he will buy a yacht, leave his wife by girls he picked up the night before.”
I'm genuinely happy this is available on RUclips... thank you algorithm gods
Always got glad when i heard loggins
I never realized the ls rock radio host was Kenny Loggins until now.
11:28 that is one of my favorite quotes
One of the best lines.
Captain loggins > dj Cara
DJ Loggins and DJ Cara > all other DJs in the game. They're both great.
cara here! there’s nothing wrong with advertising, trust me i know.
"Let's get some VHS tapes out, watch some movies about lost innocence, Jet Planes and Gophers" LMAO
If Kenny Loggins actually started his own radio station or podcast, I'd listen to it. Dude just got a really soothing voice.
This is why I like GTA V
4:32 for Elton John reference
I'm gonna miss loggins in GTA 6
13:26 my favorite part hearing this quote that really gets me while driving the car.
14:19 is my favorite quote.
is it bad that i can mouth the words to a lot of these
Only true ZZ Top fans understand 9:09. “Apparently they love throwing those keys to unsuspecting guys”
i didn't know loggins as the vj of lsrr! los santos rock radio!
He's voice its perfect
18:03 and 20:32, the best hands down, his voice is gold.
Lets go into the land of British heavy metal here's Def Leppard.
Can you upload the Radio Mirror Park quotes with DJ George. That would be great:)
"But more on that later...You've got a sunset to chase haven't you"? I'm free starts playing.👌👌

I have to laugh every time I hear that line on the radio. 😂
18:53 is my favorite.
I hope you’re enjoying these tracks... if you aren’t you probably left your soul somewhere. go back and get it!
This man speaks some heartfelt truth!
Everything he says is better than

Smoothest man known to man
I love you for this
14:49 Gold
Tnx for doing this men. Just awesome
I love hearing Kenny's soft voice giving ubsurd quotes
Me too. Kenny should be a meditation guide for meditation videos. While relaxing music plays kenny should guide everyone to meditate. Hearing his voice and meditation music would be very relaxing. I wish he would do that but that's probably not gonna happen.

"A state that's outta water so the mudslides gotta put the fires out."
😂

@Duglife I wish I got more Bob Seger in my games.
Yeah, it's one of those rarer songs like Strangers in the Wind on Radio Mirror Park
me too, But I heard Radio Gaga was played on the actual GTA Trailer back then.
