@Kadiri Olanipekun listen some people like and some people do not, and I like it because of action and the hard work Patty put into this, though i know why curtain people hate, but I didn’t mind it I still thought it was good and also I love Wonder Woman so it’s good to see another Wonder Woman movie even though it has many flaws and terrible physics but like I said before, I don’t mind. I also like the characters and how the movie is set in the 80s to really get that 80s vibe. Last but not least, I love Diana’s new suit because it’s brighter and references the Wonder Woman comics and also her suit goes with the 80’s vibe. So that’s why I love WW84

This film has lots of heart and good intentions but I feel that Patty's nostalgia and pacifist iteration of Wonder Woman made the film feel so day and night compared to the first Wonder Woman in 2017. I noticed that Patty stated that Diana fights in a specific way, she's not fighting from anger or has any hatred inside of her, we can't forget about Diana's lore and background. She was born on an island full of warriors and all they know is training and protecting their home. Diana's assimilation into mans world shouldn't change the core fundamentals of the culture she was raised in. I understand that Diana is sympathetic and loving which has always been her noticeable traits but she's also a fierce warrior that will do what's necessary. I feel this Wonder Woman is the most imbalanced out of all films she's been in. I understand that Patty isn't a fan of such a brute Diana but that is how she is portrayed in most mediums, yes she is compassionate and loving but she's also a powerhouse similar to Superman. Wonder Woman should be in scenarios where could display both sides of her. The action in WW84 was lacking in my opinion. The mall scene felt juvenile and not on the level of such an iconic superhero such as Wonder Woman, it was more so on the level of Spiderman lol. Not a huge fan of Patty taking away Diana's sword and shield. It almost feels like she's trying to reinvent the wheel when it comes to Wonder Woman. You can't take away the things people love about the character to satisfy your own personal beliefs, the sword and shield were taken away only for Diana not to have scenes that display her hand-to-hand combat skill I found that strange. Action scenes also lacked weight and impact such as the running scene and white house scene. When Diana regained her powers back after renouncing her wish to further show her powers are back, as she was running the concrete should've been caving in from her force. In the white house scene, Barbra charges Diana smashing her against the wall but there is no damage on the wall behind Diana, a small but noticeable detail. The dessert scene felt weightless and lacked impact as well. Even though at that point in the movie she was losing her powers I didn't expect the ground to be caving in but a decent whoosh/zoom/stomp sound effect as she ran would've given a better illusion of her running fast. Another thing that I dislike is the power scaling of Diana. It's like everyone forgot that Wonder Woman was created to be the female equivalent of Superman. I have no idea why she isn't being displayed as a powerhouse like in most mediums. In live-action, she's basically a slightly stronger version of Captain America. Don't know why Patty or Zack is afraid to make Wonder Woman similar in strength as Superman. Wonder Womans feats should be grand and remembered. She is a Amazon and the daughter of Zeus! The flying scene had the most impact on me in this film, the emotion and score set the tone for me, although I wish it was longer. She had just loss steve and was full of anger I would've loved to see her break the sound barrier that would have been the cherry on top.
I think Zack portrays her better. Also I don’t think she needs to be on the power level on superman. She’s more graceful and technique oriented than superman who’s all brute force
in the comics WW has this duality of fierce warrior and pacifist tho... especially when it comes to barbara who diana always considered a friend and never gave up on getting her back on the right track

I definitely wasn’t happy to hear Kristen Wiig was cast as Cheetah but she really knocked it out of the park. I was wrong as hell on that one and I’m glad she got the chance to be in this movie.
The movie isn’t that good but once you watch the behind the scenes... you have a bit more respect for it. It’s nice to see how THEY intended it to be. Compared to being like I WANT THIS OR THAT. There are many problems that can’t always be looked over though. It is a “meh” film.
the part where they practice wire stunts in the studio was greatly shot..love it! how i wish the fight scene between diana and cheetah was well-lit with less slow mo
The Idea for the final flight between ww and Cheetah was actually brilliant. But in the movie, I feel like it wasn't delivered as it should. It felt a bit all over the place.
The concepts for the movie are good but they were poorly executed. Like if they took the time to explain all these concepts the movie would have been way better

Diana was on defensive mode all th time, did not even try to fight back at all, and still could restrain Cheetah. Cheetah was not able to break free from Diana's grab when they were in the water. And she was ko by electricity that did not affect Diana at all. Honestly Cheetah should be powerful since she is powered up by a God too. But they did not show it at all in this movie.
@@scamila17 They did not even take the time to really establish Cheetah’s power level. That part was disappointing because there was a lot of potential for an epic battle, all that happened is what you wrote. Diana holding back in an armor she hardly needed.

She is a diplomat, a Goddess and a warrior with codes. So they should try to explore all aspects of her character. Her powerhouse aspect has not been well developed in the mocies and in the comics of the past decade too. Compared to the badass and powerful stuff we used to see her do in Pre and Post Crisis eras. Nowadays she should be more powerful than ever. Since on top of having powers from multiple Gods like Pre 52 WW. she also has a deeper connection to Zeus power by being his child. Yet her current era of comics and movies just portray her as a super human Xena instead of an actual Goddess. They need to bring back powerhouse WW and her villains. Her verse deserves to feel epic and powerful, like it was meant to be since they created it.

exactly. it felt like they didn’t care about the movie at all. also, the shot where she was in the sky totally took me out of the moment. the lighting didn’t match and her hair barely moved, considering that she’s free-falling from miles up in the sky. the action scenes were hard to follow too.
I hate CGI it all looks so fake, especially the fight scene at the end, Cheetah looks rubber, its horrible. The same with Spiderman..rubber fake humans

Gal Gadot is so perfect as Wonder Woman. She embodies this character so well and it truly shows on screen and in the BTS.
