I love my Saturday morning routine. Wake up, make a cup of coffee and sit down for my Nani video! Life is good. Desk set up, with glimpses at fountain pens, inks, journals, stacks of books...glorious stuff. I recently got a TWISBI Eco T Saffron and love it. One question maybe you can explore in the future deals with all your journals. I also have multiple journals. One for reading. One for daily journaling. One for prayer. One is a captains log (from Austin Klein) it's a record of what I actually do with my time for the day). One for writing, the craft side of writing. And a commonplace book. But I have a hard time with the commonplace book, a lot of what might go in there just stays in the other journals. I can't figure out if there is a paper/digital way to do this, also. If you are looking for future video ideas maybe you can discuss how you decided to keep these journals analog as opposed to digital and how you create and maintain your commonplace book? The methods you have for that? I'm curious because there are so many great ideas, lines, bits of dialogue, people that we come across in a typical day and we want to be able to keep track of them to use in our writing at some point. By the way, did you see the birthday card you sent me is also in the video? hahahahah. I checked out the yellow TWISBI Eco T Saffron, it looks nice! I think I'm going to get one too. I like the idea of making videos about journals. Maybe I'll do one after I fill them a bit fuller. Did you find the captain log helpful? (I haven't heard of it, but tried to do the same thing with G-calendar and it didn't work out) I think you brought up the same struggle I have about the commonplace book. I don't keep it well, I have been using my Hobonichi planner as more like a commonplace book because of the amount of space it gives each day and also because I carry it more with me than other books. I also find myself recording things with my phone note app or Evernote, audio recording, and pictures often. I think this conversation is a reminder that I should find a way to organize them. Story ideas and dialogues are definitely going into my Evernote (I'm currently seeing if I can transition into Notion, but not sure yet, still learning), I have an Evernote notebook for story ideas and another for random dialogue that doesn't have particular ideas.
