  • Today we’re going to talk about wisdom teeth removal.
    Third molars are also referred to as wisdom teeth. They usually start to appear at the ages from 17-25.
    More and more people these days are being born without wisdom teeth. Some people even have enough room in their mouth to keep their wisdom teeth but for moth of us we need go have them out to avoid complications. A lot of times it is a preventative measure, we want to get those out before they cause problems.
    There are some common complications that occur when you do keep the wisdom teeth. This could be pain, infection, or cysts that develop around the wisdom teeth in there, damage to the nearby tooth, decay to the adjacent or wisdom teeth themselves, and trapping food and a bad smell.
    If your dentist has recommended that you wisdom teeth come out, do not fear. With today’s modern procedures it’s really easy in most cases to have them out. It’s easier to do as a teenager or young adult so try and do it, the sooner the better don’t delay. A lot of people say “I’m not having any symptoms with my wisdom teeth, why do I need to have them out?” You just want to get them out before any of those problems arise because it will be much easier than waiting.
    Most wisdom teeth extractions are done right in the dentist office. You can choose between nitrous oxide, oral sedation, or just local anesthesia alone. Our doctors will go over your options with you, they will work hard to ensure you have a comfortable and pain free experience.
