- A general overview and introduction of Shuma-Gorath.
Shuma is one of the weirdest characters in the game. His moves are janky and dont really combo at all on the ground. In the air he can do things, but not too much thanks to his short range. Once his eyeballs stick, he can be used to set up weird unblockable sequences. His Chaos Dimension is a really unique install super. If you enjoy gimmick characters, Shuma has a lot of tools exclusive to him to mess around with.
This is not meant to be an advanced guide, as i do not know enough about the character to go in-depth.

Eh. This was simply a movelist showcase rather than a guide.
For any new Shuma players I suggest abusing his j. HP normals in neutral as he has no hurtbox within the laser and it has really good range and knocksback.
Landing Mystic Stare is important becuase of you do land it and you have meter you can DHC(super into super) which will cause the eyes to explode and make the second super unblockable.
You can combo off of his super as it puts them in an otg state but the window is small so you need to be on point with it.
Has an infinite and an easy ToD in the corner. Infinite is done by launching the opponent and immediately doing LP, u+HP to knock them further up. While falling down hit their body with another u+HP to knock them up further. Then it's simply jumping up and doing LK, delay, LP, u+HP over and over again.
Shuma-Gorath is one of those characters that doesn't really register on someone's radar until they find someone really good with them. While not as good as Dhalsim, he has that same quality of being very unassuming at a glance, but with some bizarre tactics you need to look out for or get smacked pretty badly..
It’s funny you mention Dhalsim because I ended up choosing both Shuma and him as a kid as my mains in these games simply because they looked weird. Always get eyebrows from people when I say what characters I play in this and Street Fighter 🤣

I personally would have gone with his MvSF or UMvC3 theme, but I agree this one's a banger, too.

Charge Backwards, which means hold the direction away from the opponent for a bit
I believe. . . .Chaos Dimension is the strongest super (not counting hulk glitch) doing about half life or so to cable which is dam strong on its own
