Let me warn you. The first bit of story (a realm reborn) can be a bit boring as it's over 300 quests with a lot of filler. BUT I do promise it's better once you head into the expansions afterwards.

@@cheerfulzoo It is very slow, but there's a fair amount of world building that occurs and sets up stuff for the future. I personally enjoyed it, but I also would take breaks in the story to go do other things like side quests and whatnot. I feel like that can help break it up better and keep it from getting too boring too quickly, as opposed to just running straight through the story in one go.
It's a little slow in ARR, but it sets alot of base for later in the story. There's no rush, even the oldest content is still playable. Enjoy the ride as you like, I recommend fishing, it's great once you get rolling.
