This is wonderful! I was there that day, miss the old place so much. Thanks for uploading. I particularly enjoyed the walkabout at the beginning, outside the stadium. Lovely memories
As a Brighton fan that was also there that day, I have to say entrance and reception you gave to us as the visiting team on what was your day was class. To allow the players that out first (with a guard of honour of sorts) with the Div Three trophy was something special. 👌 Still have my seat from the away end somewhere at my parents house. 😂
Southampton beat us at our last ever game At Maine Road 1-0 in 2003 so I know what it's like losing your spiritual Home. I don't even go anymore due to ludicrous ticket prices and the flat pitful atmosphere at the Etihad football soled it's soul along time ago.
this will happen at my club (Watford) one day and it'll just feel weird. I feel like you lose the soul of the club when this happens. When I think of Southampton I think of the Dell, I don't think of the identikit St Mary's. Likewise so many, Highfield Road, Baseball Ground, Filbert Street etc.
Hey Reet, Hope you don't mind me asking this, but we're doing a university project on this stadium and I was wondering whether you'd be kind enough to let us use some of this footage for it?
Something i love about football stadiums , i love videos showing entering the turnstyles and taking the walk to the terraces.

Ah the memories, god how i miss the Archers Road. Proper football ground when players actually gave a s hit about playing for the shirt.
wish we had that now. so weird seeing a fans view from inside, its common nowadays

No problem Luke. Hope it goes well. Would love to see it when finished. So glad I decided to take my camera that day.
