Nice clean install on the wiring. Car looks great! M&H harness with GXL insulation wire is a big upgrade from stock wiring that used the PCV insulation.
Thanks. I agree, M&H makes great reproductions using modern wiring, happy to have that option available now. Just need to be carful as they are accurate reproductions, including the same bulkhead connection weakness as the factory harnesses. Some original harness applications have been consolidated into to one replacement harness part number. One example, a Plymouth dash harness with unneeded concealed headlights wiring/connections that Dodge only needs. I’ll rework a M&H harness if needed to make for a better fit or remove any unused 12ga charge circuit wires after by-passing the bulkhead terminals. Some harnesses for options are not reproduced, will need to use originals or build from scratch. If I have an original harness in good shape, I’ll rebuild it, replace or remove any higher current wiring, address any individual wire or connector issues. Not every original harness has to be replaced simply due to age as some like to say.
@@72roadrunnergtx I don't think anyone reproduces the power window harness. Would need the oddball switch connectors and terminals. Doing a video on the Power Windows relays modification would be a good reference for those who don't know about it. I did the mod in the 1990s with regular relays, then used the Potter & Brumfield VBA-1000 relay for a cleaner install, but it seems they discontinued making those relays.
