I think you have to listen to the song Mansion again, especially the last half. Also in Outro he says, "Listen to Intro 3, trying to kill my fear. They'll get that in a minute..." Now that you know it's Fear talking, listen to Intro 3 again and it'll make more sense. For parts of it, NF and Fear are talking back and forth. It's tricky to tell who is who sometimes, but it starts with Fear and ends with NF. NF buries his Fear. Fear was with him during the abuse, but it was also on stage with him, and a lot of his songs are written because of the fear he's experienced in his life. He references a song he wrote for Johnny. We assume this was his mother's boyfriend who abused him. He wrote the song without Fear, but he needs Anger to write it, so he can't bury Anger. I'm hoping he'll release this song on the next album.
Hundred percent agreed. I think this is one of the greatest songs ever written on a lyrical, symbolic, and instrumental basis. Even though there’s no music video for it, I think the song is even better served to let us visualize this confrontation. My favorite he’s ever made
If you remember in "outro" one of the last lines he Says "listen to intro III Trying to kill my fear"... didn't catch that til like a week ago but yeah
It's fear! He finally buried it. Johnny is believed to be his Mom's boyfriend that use to beat them. NF is hanging onto anger for the song he writes about Johnny.
I feel like you are gonna have a bunch of people correcting you and telling you what this song is, but honestly I really like what your interpretation was! The idea of this song shows Nate getting out of his head and moving forward MAKES SENSE!! The albums after this album, Nate goes crazy and goes hay wire on all tracks! And it also makes sense with the popular meaning in this song, how he had to kill his fear in order to do it. I love the journey you're going on man, the NF train be riding deep!
Still 4 hours... ohhhhh, I am SO excited about this one!! My son and I have been watching you since did When I Grow Up... I think I subscribed that day.
Love Ur reaction. This song is a masterpiece.goosebumbs all over.johnny was the New Partner from his mum.and nate battle with Fear here.so excited for the next one.i think u will like it.
To be perfectly honest, I had to listen to this song a crapload of times before it started to “click” for me. I guarantee it took a lot of us in these comments several listens to understand it. I still don’t know exactly what I’m hearing with each line. I thought you did a great job!
To me 1 of his coldest bars waz when fear said " what r u outta ur mind? Guess both of us will b come on let's go outside" "Outta ur mind " mind is his mansion" 🤯🤯🤯
Wow I never caught that with the photo of NF and the hand! You're right... look at the awkward angle. No one would cover their mouth like that. It's like the Fear inside him is trying to shut him up because now he is fighting back.
It was fear talking to him. He talked about mansion and letting him. Beacon mansion he let fear in. He mentions no name which is a song coming up also. Great reaction bro.
He was essentially burying fear in this one which was described in Mansion. He is taking fear out of his head (mansion) and killing it. :) I loved watching your face as you started figuring it out. This is the best song ever recorded along w/ Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen IMO. Imagine this w/ a live orchestra. Johnny was his stepfather I think. Did you catch the bar where he said he wish he was burying fear? That might be a future intro. Sooo good. Great reaction, man. Always great. God Bless.
Ah I really thought you'd catch it but that's okay. A lot of people don't their first time. Make sure you go back and listen to it again now that you know it was Fear talking and it's direct tie from Mansion. Gives off a whole new vibe listening to the song when fear is personified as a person. It's crazy good! 🔥
Amazing reaction my friend Don!!....In 2017, the music world was shocked by the bursting onto the scene of a 22-year-old singer named Dimash Kudaibergen, who performed on the famous Chinese competition show for professional singers called “The Singer”... It was just It was necessary for this young man to make his first appearance, making a cover of one of the most difficult songs in the world, a famous French composition called "S.O.S. D'un Terrien En Détresse", to be considered from that moment on as the best singer in the entire planet....No one in the musical field had ever seen a human being, being able to reach vocal ranges above 7 octaves and several semitones, that is, all 88 keys of a digital piano, which reaches a little more than 7 octaves and as if that weren't enough, sing the more than 12 languages...Since then all kinds of experts (Vocal coach, analysts, singing teachers, youtubers, reactors, etc.) have dedicated themselves to reviewing their presentations to try to understand how someone can sing this way...The incredible thing is that that presentation in China was in 2017 and 5 years have passed since then, but what Dimash has done in these 5 years is to further improve his wide vocal range, which is currently practically above of the 8 octaves... The Covid pandemic stopped his concerts worldwide, all with tickets sold in just seconds, via the internet, but at the same time it ended up catapulting him to the top of popularity worldwide...Anyway, since I think you are one of those reactors who have not yet met this impressive singer, here is the link of that presentation in China in 2017, with the song S.O.S. and I would like you to mention my name as the person who recommended him to you... Your channel will explote with thousands of views, comments and new subscribers, so be prepared with a notebook and a pen to write a lot of requests....This is a more recent video than the others, so it does not have the same number of views as the previous ones, which have millions of views, but it is a more complete video, with an intro, subtitles in several languages and with the improved quality of audio and sound....ruclips.net/video/bDX3FhmyNac/видео.html
I never looked at the album cover art the way you did, but I see exactly what you're saying about him covering his mouth. I agree that could be the intent, but who knows. I don't lol. As far as Johnny goes... Johnny is the name NF uses to refer to his abuser. I don't think NF explicitly says who his abuser was. NF hasn't made a song about Johnny yet and who knows if he ever will.
@@DonVon because people help and tell us to hear Mansion and Outro before Intro 3, then it's matter of connecting the dots, where did fear came to his house? the basement. What happened in the basement? He was phisically abused by the mothers boyfriend. What sentiment came from there beside fear? Anger, that he's going to need to write a song about Johnny, that lives in the basement. So this is a "to continued" from what i know the song about Johnny is not out, yet
Song is definitely 🔥🔥🔥🔥 .....can't help but think he was inspired by Em's My Darling, which is also FLAMEZZZ. The next song is my personal fave from this album, edging out Remember This. #nfrealmusic
Great reaction! This was NF and his Fear battling. He buried Fear in the back of his mind. One burden he will not deal with going into the next album.
This is Nate's fear talking to him and him fighting back against it. Crazy stuff but unbelievably awesome 👌
You don't need a video. I can totally envision it all just with his words and emotion
Facts I was going to say the same thing

This is my favorite NF song. His writing in this is insane.

i literally just noticed now when he said "What? you dont like being afraid? heres a dose of your own medicine." fear and experiencing fear
NF paint such a crazy picture u don't even need a video cuz I see it n ur mind 🤯👏🏽🔥💪🏽😎
3:15 good point😮
This track in great! I've been looking forward to this! 🖤
He’s talkin to a personified version of his fear and self doubt!
NF is very reflective! Love ❤️ him! In the song Mansion he talks about he’s not the only one living in there Fear moved in and got comfortable!
NF is NOTHING BUT 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶😎

Priceless!!! ;)
Johnny is what he named his abuser (stepdad i believe?)

The whole time he was talking to himself it was fear
The thing he Buried was fear and Johnny is the name or persona he gives to his dad
Oh wow!
Not his dad,his stepdad
@@joelmanning9134 your right I just said dad it’s the guy the was in the trunk in the track “Nate”
Have fun with this one my guy
Amazing reaction bro
I’ll play this with Nate on July 18th, 2023 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin!
He kicked Fear out of the Mansion.
Another great reaction! 🔥🔥🔥💜💜💜
Awesome reaction! This is Fear finally showing up and NF is talking to him. In mansion he talks about fear but not dealing with it, now fear appears.
Johnny the stepfather that beat him
Wow I never caught that with the photo of NF and the hand! You're right... look at the awkward angle. No one would cover their mouth like that. It's like the Fear inside him is trying to shut him up because now he is fighting back.
Exactly !!!
Great reaction!! He is arguing with Fear, that moved into his Mansion. He just buried it.
He killed his fear. Johnny is his mom's bf that abused him.
he is talking to FEAR the entire song, thats why its great.
Johnny is his stepdad that beat him :(
Damn if this was live haha once you said that you need a video, I would have said to just wait. NF is about to paint one for you lol

I follow u. His doors were unlocked and his cage unlocked on this song

I read somewhere shortly after perception was released that nf said that there will be no more intro songs on any albums after perception.
@@brandonreder9869 I read that too somewhere.
This song runs directly into outcast you gotta listen to them together to appreciate it properly
WOW!!!@
nice catch on lyrics being song titles.....he does that a fair amount for sure
to me this song is kind of like NF defeating fear, fear is a part of life but he won’t let control him anymore.
"Listen to intro 3 try'n to kill my fear" Outro
Good shit!

Wheels was turning just didn’t click on that! I knew that tho, tragic yeah imma relisten
Fear was the antagonist. Johnny was his mom's boyfriend he's the one who beat him up. That's a joke was written five or six years before clouds.
Soooo ready for this! ❤️❤️

It is believed that Johnny was his abuser.
he's talkin about his dad....
which is why dads plays such an important roll in kids lives
👌🏻
Johnny is supposedly Nathan’s father
Johnny was his moms boyfriend that abused nate
I think Jonny might be his childhood bully or something

You should start reacting to Josh A Music it similar to NF but they eat basically made there own style of rap check him out
bro you needa react to church’s new song “superstar”
Who was living in the room? Go hear Mansion again, Johnny is the mothers boyfriend
How did y’all catch and remember that!?!
