Well done, you adventurers you. An epic climb, but my heart goes out to the three brave souls who lost their lives last week on Mt Cook. As you mentioned Andy, the weather can change so quickly.
Yes absolutely, we heard the news of the climbers who lost their lives just as we were preparing to release the video, little did we know when we were looking at the memorial there would be 3 more names on there. Very sad and a stark reminder of how we vulnerable we can be in the mountains, Andy&Michelle
I can't believe how busy it is there again. That was our stomping ground during the Covid border closures. Had the place all to ourselves....well us and the keas who kept checking in on us every morning. Excellent work on show casing this little slice of heaven

Stunning video, Mt Cook is just wonderful. The views from the top were fantastic. You can really see the glacial impact on the valley with the smooth sides created, quite relatable to some of the valleys in the north of our country (UK), amazing. We stayed at Glentanner and was the first stop on our tour.
Glad you enjoyed our beautiful country. I have spent many years climbing in the Southern Alps, including many of the peaks that surrounded you on this walk, and Mueller Hut is no easy access. Well done!
Guys, Your NZ trip has been the best ever. I toured round in Feb after a cruise from Sydney. My plan after retiring is to tour mainly South Island in Motor home in Nov/Dec 25. Could I ask or get a copy of your full itinerary? Keep up the great work. Safe travels Andy
