    I’d imagine the Mando fleet would be almost Roman in its consistency;
    Their underworld contacts and various dealings would ensure that they could recruit mercenaries or local forces into the fleet, alongside having a large but fairly small compared the the non-mando requisitioned vessels completely mandolorian ship. This is until they were able to secure more and better ship rights and yards, but they would need these ‘auxiliary’ forces for superior familiarity and intelligence of nearby systems, which means they’d have to play their cards with the non-mandos or mandos to be VERY carefully, any political or social issues could cause not only the locals with the issue simply disengage and return home forone reason or another, but impress other local forces to do the same.

    I´d use the Fang Fighter as a secondary/ interception craft, and Kom´rk Class Fighter/Bombers for bombing or deploying commando teams. Those two vessels are both equipped with hyperdrives, and could do their job just as well as the the corporate crafts. Other mandalorian/Hutt crafts are best used as in-atmosphere Strike craft.
    And, most effective would be Besalisk War Droids, though that would be akin to a war crime, but could give them the edge they need against the Empire. Another thing that comes to mind is using mandalorian jetpack-equipped Commandos the same way the Empire uses its Zero-G-troopers.

    This is an excellent video! However, it is important to keep in mind that Beskar, even on Mandalore, is rare and expensive. Every ounce of Mandalorian Iron is precious which is why new Beskar'gam is usually formed from the armor of their predecessors. There was simply not enough Beskar to use on massive hull-plating and the chance that it could be lost and not recovered is too great a risk. It wasn't until the Yuuzhan Vong opened up new deposits of Beskar on Mandalore that they were comfortable using the material on vehicles, but even then only on the Bes'uliik-class fighter.

    I am not very well versed in SW lore, I've seen the movies and I watched Rebels on top of a bunch of yt vids, so take this for what it is (still a huge fan of Thrawn :p): Disgrace seems to be the Mandalorian theme. The people of the old Roman empire always called themselves Romans even when they knew the city was rubble, even the Byzantines. They did so in hopes that one day a city they had no real ties to would be rebuilt. To contrast, the Mandalorian's loss of their empire was like losing the city, but they accepted that disgrace.
    I could totally see the Mandalor I know adopting that doctrine as one of many possibilities, but I don't think it would work for them. Even defeated and enslaved, the galaxy seems to keep Mandalor in the corner of its eye. They would get special attention from who's in power, unless said power was the 'letting the Dominion reinforce Cardassia' complacent type. The moment the Empire noticed a militant and ambitious Mandalor, it might not send a massive fleet given the circumstances, but at least Vader and/or Thrawn would be all over it.
    They could just ally themselves with Amarr. Whatever floats their boat :p

    Couple things I would probably consider/change
    1. Removing Old Republic era designs I know that they are popular and are the only Mando capital ships we have to go off of but it would be like if the New Republic just started Making Venators again for their fleets after the fall of the empire.
    2. As pointed out in the video briefly the Mando's aren't going to have very much manufacturing capability especially if this is during the imperial era and they are isolated from the rest of the galaxy. So it would make a little bit more sense if the Mando's raided old Clone wars storage and scrap yards. This would give them ships of all sizes and variants from both republic and CIS designs to build their fleet out plus throwing in a few open market ships into the mix to fill any gaps.
    3. This conversation changes completely if we are talking post empire because then the Mando's would be able to create their industry and use new designs openly without worrying about the empire coming crashing down on them in retaliation.
    4. Beskar isn't something they have in enough abundance to just go throwing on ships. If I wanted to incorporate Beskar I would probably go the route of having the Mando's develop an artificial alternative where they can produce as much as they want but it's just not as strong maybe they mix Beskar in with some other form of strong metal. Something along those lines.

    • @biggsdarklighter0473

      Thrawn would probably go in with interdictor frigates, escorted by Tartan Cruisers and broadside cruisers. Against Commandos he'd use noghri commandos, as well as various Elite stormtrooper units. Against Infantry, he'd use the "duchess"-prototypes, while against canderous tanks, anything with shield breaking weapons would do. To Bad, the Empire doesn't have much of those units.
      I suppose TX-130 Saber Tanks are good enough for that Job,given their superior speed.

      If you take the Battle of Geonosis to be any indication, the initial numbers for the Clone Army were around 1.2 million clone units at the start of the Clone Wars, at least five million more ordered later, with official sources citing a full army size of 3.2 million at one point. For a conflict that was supposed to span the entire galaxy. Contrast to the stated crew complements of an Imperial I-class, and multiply that by the number of Imperial I Star Destroyers stated to exist, and you get 1.169 BILLION serving members of the Imperial military based on Imperial I Star Destroyer crew complements alone and assuming all those ships have full crews.
      I don't know if Star Wars was ever realistic when it comes to military sizes. Even Death Stars had a very small number of personnel relative to their size and volume.
