Breaking down the latest round of leaked Marvel Legends that's rumored to start hitting in 2025 including my long-awaited Banshee in his classic green and yellow attire.
I wonder if his weird articulation is holding them back...like he's always hunched over, so they want to design it around that...🤔. We deffo want him though.

I’m hoping the X-Factor Jean Grey is a good indication that we will get the whole team before long, but I really, really want the Walt Simonson costumes.
He did do the original costumes. He started around issue #10 and they didn't change costumes until #26(?) But yeah, I do want their second outfits more.

Something about the way the mafex knee and elbow joints look when bent are so much better. I wish a billion dollar company would at the very least keep up , since they aren’t trying to surpass. @jwolf8371 I would love a deluxe one, where we could get swappable forearms, calves, and head/neck like the Tombstone and Talos figures. That way, we would essentially have two figures in one, just like Talos.
Mandarin? MANDARIN! Oh I couldn't be anymore excited for a ML then having an absolute A-lister villain for the display. To scratch this character off my wish list is literally a huge relief as I never thought Hasbro would ever make one. Banshee, I can finally retire that old Toybiz figure and finally complete my Uncanny X-Men display. Adam Warlock is a must-have as well. I am hoping they make a Jim Starlin styled one. Could Pip be next? Jean Grey in the X-Factor wardrobe looks pretty enticing yet with the latest Jean figures out from ML and Mafex - it might be too late for me to start another team. Thanks a ton for your efforts on this video Jeffrey. I really appreciated it. 2025 looks pretty promising. If Hasbro wants to throw in a Wizard and Trapster I might want to pinch myself.

Banshee, Chameleon, vintage Adam Warlock and Constrictor are the ones that I'm most looking forward to. Want to see: U-Foes, Frightful Four, Blastarr, Stingray, Jack of Hearts, Vangard, and some Inhumans.

I totally get wanting the Red and Yellow X-Factor costume for Jean because like you said, they already gave us the corresponding Blue and White Cyclops. I have to admit though that I think the Green and Yellow is maybe still my favorite because it calls back to both her Marvel Girl and Phoenix colors. Now if they make that X-Factor "Human-Like" Beast, it could probably be easily repainted to be part of a new X-Men First Class box set. That right there would be a grail set for me! As far as the MvC 2-packs....Oh man, I am sooo excited for these! I can definitely use a new Jim Lee Psylocke. I also need a Silver Samurai. Green and Yellow Banshee will be great to finally have. But Wait...Hasbro, no YellowJacket?!!! 😠😢😭 I'm holding out hope we may get an announcement for him before the end of the year but I'm starting to lose faith.
I'm surprised we haven't gotten the original X-Men look for them though I wouldn't mind if they used smaller bucks so they don't look fully adult just yet.
Sometimes I watch these and realize how little I know about comics because of my narrow focus. But like your excitement about completing teams and getting all of these variants.

I feel like if we get an ex factor human looking beast, then will probably also get our first class, looking beast and the rest of the team in their first class look. I am leaning my hopes on the fact that we’re also getting suited banshee so maybe we can get The whole giant size roster all at once it would be nice if everybody was as painless as this banshee is no doubt going to be
Out of what you mentioned, Stan the Janitor, Shuma Gorath, Juggernaut (favorite villain!), and Crossbones (if he isn't in his "wrestling" attire is what I'm most hyped for. Still holding out hope Razorfist eventually makes the cut.

As Marvel Comics Presents #1-10 cemented Wolverine as my favorite hero, I have a big soft spot for ol' Razorfist so I want his goofy comic look as well.

2024 has been a GREAT year for Marvel Legends, and it looks like the good vibes will continue in 2025. I’m down for Agent Venon, Ms. Marvel/Moonstone (PLEASE give her an extra 70s Carol Danver Ms. Marvel head. I’ll buy two!), Iron Man (still waiting for Heroes Reborn), Mandarin, Psylocke, Warlock (hoping for the original Starlin look, but okay with Infinity Gauntlet look), X-Force (sold off my originals), X-Factor, Husk (VERY high on my most wanted…love Paige), and Banshee. I would love a Marrow, so I hope she’s coming as well.
Yep. Some folks have been complaining about the line, but they've really been on a roll since mid-2023. The 2024 figures have largely been good to excellent and next year seems like some strong candidates too.
OMG, Jeffrey! Some RUclips channels have an explicit warning on them. This spisode should have come with a TAKE YOUR HEART PILLS BEFORE VIEWING warning!! What an exciting list!! I don't know which one to be most excited about... it all will come down to the "Wrong Costume" problem with which we are tortured by Dwight far too frequently in my view. Yes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I often find myself muttering, "Oh Dwight. Why did you put this character in that costume?!?" Bottom line? I reacted to none of these leaks with the thought "Pass." I'm gonna be all over these figs!! Thanks again, Jeffrey!! Now I gotta go change my pants...
I think it would be smart to do a human beast because he could also be used to give us a first class look and then we just get the whole first class team. I can’t imagine that they won’t complete the rest of Gen X given that they’ve started us on that journey. I’d love to get new mutants and their original looks or their graduation looks. I think it’s smart to play on the nostalgia of 80s 90s readers and just give us all the looks of all the characters.
I am MOST excited by the prospect of a Classic Banshee finally - but also excited for a Classic Adam Warlock, Moonstone as Ms. Marvel (give us a classic Carol alternate head and l'll buy two), Husk and Kaine. Shuma Gorah - yes please!
So, I'm hoping for a classic 1970s Punisher If we get that, I can knock 3 off of my Bronze/Shooter Top 10 era Missing list The main one for me though, Classic Valkyrie. That is sorely needed and a 1970s Falcon so I can close down that early Avengers line up.
There’s still a few figures I still hope they make, Earth-X Wolverine(Fat Wolverine), a new Daken, Albert and Elsie Dee, Gateway, Werewolf by Night( Jake), Tusk, more Marvel zombies , more Venomized figures, Beast TAS, feral Wolverine
I bet they’ll use the new punisher body to make this agent venom it’s got the height and just general feel of a military type character. I think they’re also going to give us a more retro punisher on that same body with the white boots. Maybe it’ll even be in a retro Spider-Man car back packaging so it doesn’t feel like just a boot swap.
A lot of the figures in this leak don’t appeal to me personally, but I’m glad that others are excited. Banshees, Adam Warlock, and the Mandarin are must-buys. I would prefer the Adam Warlock from Jim Starlin’s run pre-Infinity Gauntlet, but I’ll take either one. Oh, and Shuma-Gorath is definitely appealing depending on how he looks. I always kind of wanted a big HasLab version.
There was also rumors on another RUclips channel that another X-Men fox legacy wave featuring Storm, Cyclops, and X3 Jean Grey, taking it with a pinch of salt but I hope it's true, I need them so bad 😩🤞🏻
The Fabian Cortez fig should come with an alternate head of other members of The Acolytes with swappable hands/arms....cause they wear the same uniform....just like they did with The New Mutants girls - Wolfsbane, Moonstar, and Karma
We need an OG Betsy Braddock/Psylocke figure. Be it Outback Armour, Classic Pink Jumpsuit or Asrar Disassembled. Oh, and the Neal Adams era Original X-MEN. I want a furless Beast. But I guess we might get that with an X-Factor vrelease.
Not gonna hold my breath for the MVC wave, but if it should come to fruition, I hope they make Capcom characters, a deluxe MVC styled Sentinel and Marrow would be awesome as well.

Excited for Mystique, Banshee and possibly the X-Factor pair...might hold off until I know they are doing the whole team though, otherwise what's the point😬. The rest is a bit meh for me but I'm more of a silver age/80s buyer, which is fine for my wallet 😌👍 ETA; oh yeah, The MarvelvsCapcom packs sounds fun too. I wish they could get a limited license to include some of the Capcom side, that would be amazing. Great video! Please give us a new Ice Man. I hate the the retro card SO BAD I made my Toys R Us 3 pack phased Vision my Ice Man on display. Yes: I cut off the reto's belt. When they make a viable Ice Man, im turning retro into battle damaged Silver Surfer.

Beast in human form would be awesome . We need this whole team . A box set would make sense . When a box set makes sense Hasbro does not do it . Why can't tney offer both ?

I was worried I said Sentry as I was editing it. I said (albeit a bit too fast) Century, the character who started teaming with Iron Man in the Force Works title.
USAgent is on the Bucky Cap body, so while I agree with which Agent you think it is, I think they could be upgrading his body. He SHOULD be bigger than Steve Rogers.

Several I will buy, but no 'Holy Grails'! I think I only had 2 or 3 'Grails' in 2024. I'm beginning to lose hope that I will ever have my 'Complete' Collection. I'm down to only 13 but they just don't come out. My 'Holy Grails'; Warriors Three Wrecking Crew Comics Swordsman and Mantis Hephzibah and Raza of the Starjammers Techno/Fixer Atlas Of course there are more that I would buy, but those are my only must haves.

I wonder if those X Men figs will be a baf of the Hoverchair or if that will be deluxe and theres a baf to be excited about.
It's a comment section. I'm used to folks sharing their disappointments. Their attention span on team shifts from year to year so that would explain why we get Moonstone Ms. Marvel before Carol.

I see a couple i have been looking to buy like punisher war machine and crossbones so i may hold up before buying the old ones ,but price will be a factor . 13:39 At first I thought you said Shuma Gorath was the temple guy _(and thought, 'no, that's capcom's darkstalkers')_ but maybe you knew he has the big eyeball and said he was the tentacle guy (next to Spider-Man in that pic and the character in the middle of the image at 15:25). Shuma gorath had multiple weird forms and attack shapes, I think he'd have to be a deluxe. 14:21 there are two types of wolverine they could do, as MvC2 haf both the bone claw option and adamantium. I guess I'm more into a potential Marrow, as the other characters mentioned seem like there are already adequate alternatives in place. Now if the improvements far excel the former like Spiral, then I'm for it... just skeptical. The main shortcomings of earlier releases are the lack of accessories to mimic their powers, especially when MvC2 did over the top illustrations of their power sets. I just imagined dhalsim arms for spiral 😳🤯 Was psylocke's buck in the recent 2pack that much better than the baf caliban wave? 18:03 an MvC2 character too 😉, along with 24:33
@@LylesFigureFilesyeah, I was referring to that psylocke/wolverine 2pack you mentioned around the 14:45 mark and comparing that buck to the previously released psylocke that was a part of a baf wave (I erroneously wrote caliban, when she & her variant were actually in the apocalypse BAF wave). The older psylocke costumes matched MvC2 look, but they were using older female buck, so I'm not too confident in remolding the newer psylocke in that 2pack. (I personally got the 2pack as I felt she looked like a shi'ar character and could perhaps even be tweaked into lilandra's sister. I ordered that ironman with proton cannon the same day they announced it on the pulse livestream. I subsequently got a 2nd after getting a custom cannon from an ebay seller so it could be given to war machine. But eventhough hasbro made the cannon, the blast effects for it were wholely underwhelming. Fortunately, I think a much better option is the air bubblewrap that's shaped like thin columns/tubes that could more adequately stand in as accessories to represent the lasers firing from the proton cannon.
I don't think they are going to make another war machine punisher I have a feeling that this punisher figure that we are getting comes from what if #29 what if captain America formed the avengers
I don't have that Avalanche. That figure is terrible. The articulation is nonexistent, the headsculpt was bag on head hideous. I had it for a week or two and then traded it. Avalanche deserved better.
SPM, and villains are all welcome. Best of the list is Chameleon. I could live without everything else. I’m really over Marvel Legends. It’s not an exciting line, or fandom the apathy for the line and the company isn’t inspiring.
I don't collect legends because it's a money pit I would however buy a legacy set if it was Wesley snipe's blade 2005 FF 2000 X-Men films and maybe guardians of the galaxy 69 team
As my name indicates, I grew up in the earliest years of Marvel. So I guess the role of the "cranky old man" is assigned to me. Watch out parade, here comes the rain! LOL! If this is the crap Hasbro is putting out in 2025, then 2025 is the year ML died and I won't be collecting them anymore. Look! More Wolverine variants! Look! More Iron Man variants! Look! More Spiderman variants! There are literally thousands of cool Marvel characters they've never made, but instead Hasbro just keeps churning out remakes and variants of the same damned characters - over and over and over again. It's ridiculous. You know what? I wish Hasbro would set aside 2025 as the Year of the Remakes and release NOTHING BUT Wolverine, Deadpool, Spiderman, and Iron Man variants. 20 variants of each character, at least. Maybe 30 releases of each. Churn out the same old character over and over and over again all year until you get as sick of making them as fans are of buying them. Just get it out of your system so we can get back to some ORIGINAL releases of much-wanted, much-needed characters. Chameleon is a classic character, and while I like his cartoon costume visually, it's ridiculous for the theme of the character. It makes no sense. Plus, he's yet another character who's already been released. And now all these female variants of make characters? Not into that nonsense. Warlock will be a great and needed addition - IF that don't release him in that stupid Infinity Wars costume. Give him his original classic costume, or at worst his 2nd costume when they added the cape. I won't be buying any Infinity Warlocks. Mandarin is a much needed character, and I have been arguing for years to the crowd that falls for the silly urban myth/meme that he is somehow "offensive". However, if they give him green skin it's a fail. And I don't see how they release him in that green skirt costume without destroying the articulation unless they give him a cloth skirt and I don't think that will look right. Give him his original or 2nd classic costume and you get a sale from me. But overall, it looks to me like the ML line is dead, at least as far as I'm concerned. 2024 started out with a bang and then went straight to Hell in an Engine of Vengeance muscle car. Ok, rant over. The rain is ending, the sun's coming back out. Carry on with the parade! 😂😉

I didnt read all you wrote 😂 but i agree they make too much of the same characters but i understand some people must like buying them . Im with you on making more stuff we never saw before since i collect more villians than heros so i save a lot of money on legends . Im definitely old school with a one and done philosphy ( is that old school or just me ? ) but hey thats more i can spend somewhere else .
@@LylesFigureFiles Oh Jeffrey, I need a beach umbrella these days! LOL! So I've been looking at other lines to find characters compatible with ML. For example, I got a 6 pack of the Spero (or is it Spiro?) Animal Kingdom figures to use as New Men for the High Evolutionary and I think they fill the role perfectly! They really look great! I've also been looking at a handful of Mythic Legions warrior figures that can work as Asgardian extras and there are maybe 5 or 6 I've seen that would probably work well. I'll probably buy myself a couple of them for Xmas to go along with the new Odin. So that'll be cool. And recently I picked up an Airbender figure, one of the McFarlane alien looking characters and Etrigan (McFarlane) to use as extradimensional magicians who serve Dormammu. Traditionally, Ditko drew all sorts of weird villains like that, so I just ignore who they are (like Etrigan) and use them as those extradimensional characters. Some of them have that Ditko look. I saw an interview with Dan Yun the other day and he hinted that Hasbro is going to be working on completing teams, and with Lockjaw and Crystal coming out, I'm REALLY hoping they are least release Triton, Gorgon, Maximus, and a new body for Blackbolt. I make it easy for Hasbro to regain my good graces! LOL!!
Yeah, I write novels, sorry. LOL! But I don't mind them making some variants of the same characters - the operative word being "some". And the problem I have is that they keep releasing the same 4-5 characters over and over at the expense of characters yet to be made. Characters who are major players and who are classics. Where is Baron Mordo? Original costumed Wonderman? The rest of the Inhumans? We're only missing 1 herald of Galactus - Gabriel the Airwalker (my 2nd fave next to Firelord). Where are the Warriors Three, who were co-stars in 90% of all Thor comics? Where is Balder, Heimdall, etc? So sure, make variants, but not at the expense of unreleased classic characters. And no more 2-packs where one is an already released character. Make them make sense. Swordsman and Mantis are a logical 2-pack that I doubt anyone (not even I) would complain about.

I totally get wanting the Red and Yellow X-Factor costume for Jean because like you said, they already gave us the corresponding Blue and White Cyclops. I have to admit though that I think the Green and Yellow is maybe still my favorite because it calls back to both her Marvel Girl and Phoenix colors. Now if they make that X-Factor "Human-Like" Beast, it could probably be easily repainted to be part of a new X-Men First Class box set. That right there would be a grail set for me!
As far as the MvC 2-packs....Oh man, I am sooo excited for these! I can definitely use a new Jim Lee Psylocke. I also need a Silver Samurai. Green and Yellow Banshee will be great to finally have.

I wish they'd done Razorfist when Shang-Chi came out. Seemed like the best opportunity for him.

As Marvel Comics Presents #1-10 cemented Wolverine as my favorite hero, I have a big soft spot for ol' Razorfist so I want his goofy comic look as well.
Im definitely looking forward to Professor X in the Hover Chair.. the O.G. version is VERY expensive on the aftermarket right now... also when they announced Punisher recently..i figured that Mandarin would be coming soon..lets face it Hasbro is a business & im happy that they realized it's good business to give the people what they want!

2024 has been a GREAT year for Marvel Legends, and it looks like the good vibes will continue in 2025. I’m down for Agent Venon, Ms. Marvel/Moonstone (PLEASE give her an extra 70s Carol Danver Ms. Marvel head. I’ll buy two!), Iron Man (still waiting for Heroes Reborn), Mandarin, Psylocke, Warlock (hoping for the original Starlin look, but okay with Infinity Gauntlet look), X-Force (sold off my originals), X-Factor, Husk (VERY high on my most wanted…love Paige), and Banshee. I would love a Marrow, so I hope she’s coming as well.
Yep. Some folks have been complaining about the line, but they've really been on a roll since mid-2023. The 2024 figures have largely been good to excellent and next year seems like some strong candidates too.
OMG, Jeffrey! Some RUclips channels have an explicit warning on them. This spisode should have come with a TAKE YOUR HEART PILLS BEFORE VIEWING warning!! What an exciting list!! I don't know which one to be most excited about... it all will come down to the "Wrong Costume" problem with which we are tortured by Dwight far too frequently in my view. Yes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I often find myself muttering, "Oh Dwight. Why did you put this character in that costume?!?" Bottom line? I reacted to none of these leaks with the thought "Pass." I'm gonna be all over these figs!! Thanks again, Jeffrey!! Now I gotta go change my pants...

I think it would be smart to do a human beast because he could also be used to give us a first class look and then we just get the whole first class team. I can’t imagine that they won’t complete the rest of Gen X given that they’ve started us on that journey. I’d love to get new mutants and their original looks or their graduation looks. I think it’s smart to play on the nostalgia of 80s 90s readers and just give us all the looks of all the characters.
I am MOST excited by the prospect of a Classic Banshee finally - but also excited for a Classic Adam Warlock, Moonstone as Ms. Marvel (give us a classic Carol alternate head and l'll buy two), Husk and Kaine. Shuma Gorah - yes please!

I bet they’ll use the new punisher body to make this agent venom it’s got the height and just general feel of a military type character. I think they’re also going to give us a more retro punisher on that same body with the white boots. Maybe it’ll even be in a retro Spider-Man car back packaging so it doesn’t feel like just a boot swap.

A lot of the figures in this leak don’t appeal to me personally, but I’m glad that others are excited. Banshees, Adam Warlock, and the Mandarin are must-buys. I would prefer the Adam Warlock from Jim Starlin’s run pre-Infinity Gauntlet, but I’ll take either one. Oh, and Shuma-Gorath is definitely appealing depending on how he looks. I always kind of wanted a big HasLab version.

The Punisher War machine was too dainty. I just put in a pre-order for the SENTINEL version. They run about 7" so it should be in scale proper.

USAgent is on the Bucky Cap body, so while I agree with which Agent you think it is, I think they could be upgrading his body. He SHOULD be bigger than Steve Rogers.
He's on a different mold than the Bucky Cap mold, but yeah he could use a larger mold.

Shuma gorath had multiple weird forms and attack shapes, I think he'd have to be a deluxe.

I guess I'm more into a potential Marrow, as the other characters mentioned seem like there are already adequate alternatives in place. Now if the improvements far excel the former like Spiral, then I'm for it... just skeptical.
The main shortcomings of earlier releases are the lack of accessories to mimic their powers, especially when MvC2 did over the top illustrations of their power sets. I just imagined dhalsim arms for spiral 😳🤯

@@LylesFigureFilesyeah, I was referring to that psylocke/wolverine 2pack you mentioned around the 14:45 mark and comparing that buck to the previously released psylocke that was a part of a baf wave (I erroneously wrote caliban, when she & her variant were actually in the apocalypse BAF wave). The older psylocke costumes matched MvC2 look, but they were using older female buck, so I'm not too confident in remolding the newer psylocke in that 2pack. (I personally got the 2pack as I felt she looked like a shi'ar character and could perhaps even be tweaked into lilandra's sister.
I ordered that ironman with proton cannon the same day they announced it on the pulse livestream. I subsequently got a 2nd after getting a custom cannon from an ebay seller so it could be given to war machine. But eventhough hasbro made the cannon, the blast effects for it were wholely underwhelming. Fortunately, I think a much better option is the air bubblewrap that's shaped like thin columns/tubes that could more adequately stand in as accessories to represent the lasers firing from the proton cannon.

I don't have that Avalanche. That figure is terrible. The articulation is nonexistent, the headsculpt was bag on head hideous. I had it for a week or two and then traded it. Avalanche deserved better.

As my name indicates, I grew up in the earliest years of Marvel. So I guess the role of the "cranky old man" is assigned to me. Watch out parade, here comes the rain! LOL! If this is the crap Hasbro is putting out in 2025, then 2025 is the year ML died and I won't be collecting them anymore. Look! More Wolverine variants! Look! More Iron Man variants! Look! More Spiderman variants! There are literally thousands of cool Marvel characters they've never made, but instead Hasbro just keeps churning out remakes and variants of the same damned characters - over and over and over again. It's ridiculous. You know what? I wish Hasbro would set aside 2025 as the Year of the Remakes and release NOTHING BUT Wolverine, Deadpool, Spiderman, and Iron Man variants. 20 variants of each character, at least. Maybe 30 releases of each. Churn out the same old character over and over and over again all year until you get as sick of making them as fans are of buying them. Just get it out of your system so we can get back to some ORIGINAL releases of much-wanted, much-needed characters.
Chameleon is a classic character, and while I like his cartoon costume visually, it's ridiculous for the theme of the character. It makes no sense. Plus, he's yet another character who's already been released. And now all these female variants of make characters? Not into that nonsense. Warlock will be a great and needed addition - IF that don't release him in that stupid Infinity Wars costume. Give him his original classic costume, or at worst his 2nd costume when they added the cape. I won't be buying any Infinity Warlocks. Mandarin is a much needed character, and I have been arguing for years to the crowd that falls for the silly urban myth/meme that he is somehow "offensive". However, if they give him green skin it's a fail. And I don't see how they release him in that green skirt costume without destroying the articulation unless they give him a cloth skirt and I don't think that will look right. Give him his original or 2nd classic costume and you get a sale from me.
But overall, it looks to me like the ML line is dead, at least as far as I'm concerned. 2024 started out with a bang and then went straight to Hell in an Engine of Vengeance muscle car.

For example, I got a 6 pack of the Spero (or is it Spiro?) Animal Kingdom figures to use as New Men for the High Evolutionary and I think they fill the role perfectly! They really look great!
I've also been looking at a handful of Mythic Legions warrior figures that can work as Asgardian extras and there are maybe 5 or 6 I've seen that would probably work well. I'll probably buy myself a couple of them for Xmas to go along with the new Odin. So that'll be cool.
And recently I picked up an Airbender figure, one of the McFarlane alien looking characters and Etrigan (McFarlane) to use as extradimensional magicians who serve Dormammu. Traditionally, Ditko drew all sorts of weird villains like that, so I just ignore who they are (like Etrigan) and use them as those extradimensional characters. Some of them have that Ditko look.
I saw an interview with Dan Yun the other day and he hinted that Hasbro is going to be working on completing teams, and with Lockjaw and Crystal coming out, I'm REALLY hoping they are least release Triton, Gorgon, Maximus, and a new body for Blackbolt. I make it easy for Hasbro to regain my good graces! LOL!!
Yeah, I write novels, sorry. LOL! But I don't mind them making some variants of the same characters - the operative word being "some". And the problem I have is that they keep releasing the same 4-5 characters over and over at the expense of characters yet to be made. Characters who are major players and who are classics. Where is Baron Mordo? Original costumed Wonderman? The rest of the Inhumans? We're only missing 1 herald of Galactus - Gabriel the Airwalker (my 2nd fave next to Firelord). Where are the Warriors Three, who were co-stars in 90% of all Thor comics? Where is Balder, Heimdall, etc? So sure, make variants, but not at the expense of unreleased classic characters. And no more 2-packs where one is an already released character. Make them make sense. Swordsman and Mantis are a logical 2-pack that I doubt anyone (not even I) would complain about.
