Yes, in 2012, I lived in a Rooming House Mansion that was built in 1880 in Mpls, MN. One morning, I was taking a shower in 1 of the 4 shared bathrooms spread over 3 floors that I was forced to share w/ 15 weirdos. Shockingly, it was easier to adapt to than I ever predicted. UNtil, one morning, while showering to get ready for my then job as a Starbucks Barista@the mall 45 minutes away. Suddenly, a VERY large shadow passed by the shower curtain of locked bathroom, blocking the light. About 6 months later, a long time room renter, aka Johnny, mentioned that a very large tenant died in the kitchen just inches outside of my 1st floor's bathroom about 3months v fore I moved in Mansion of Misfits, the exact same bathroom where the VERY large shadow that was in the bathroom w/me while I showered.🙀

When my niece was little and the day my mom passed away, she was lying down trying to take a nap with me and she started waving and saying "bye, bye" to the ceiling. Then a week later I was lying on my couch because I wasn't feeling well and it felt like someone was touching my hair very softly (this happened 3 different times that week). I asked my husband to stop and he was in the other room. I feel like it was my mom comforting me. Then my dog who passed away several years ago came to me in a dream during the time we were looking for my niece's dog who had run away from a dog sitter. She was running down a dirt road in the middle of nowhere and kept looking at me to follow her. As we were running there was a house with a wood fence around it. I told my sister about the dream and said that's where we would find Oliver. The next day my brother-in-law got a phone call saying they found the dog. The house was located on a dirt road in the middle of nowhere with a wood fence.
Now that you are not staying there... have you considered calling the hotel and asking the hotel manager if they have heard of any occurrences in the room you stayed in? I would be so curious, I would have to ask those questions. If you find out, please let us know! (Also, I’m glad you didn’t see anything!!!)

Because we are born with a “veil” over our eyes bka not able to see beyond the dimension we are in high chances are we cannot see ....unless you are gifted with the ability to see 😶

I saw a ghost when I was five, and I have always thought that it was a dream, but when I talked to the current owners of the house and described the thing for them they turn pale because they have seen that thing too. And I was like fuuuuck
My husband felt his mom pulling the covers to cover him when he was in bed. His mom passed away but he said after he woke up he knew it was her... ♥️♥️♥️
It is very real, when you really love someone they feel comfortable reaching out to you as a soul. And sometimes you feel comforted to know that they are OK where they are.
I'm just remembering what Stella's bed looks like after sleeping. I wouldn't be shocked if she pushed the blankets off her. LOL! And that room! What a weird room!
Yes, exactly. And those hotel duvet covers can be quite heavy. I did experience a duvet hanging over bed and being pulled by gravity off the bed (but when I was awake and sure nobody was there).
I have a sleep disorder so I can relate. Sleep paralysis and waking up while in the REM stage of sleep while still dreaming can be intense. Dreams become your reality. You can see, hear and FEEL them in real life...
I’ve experienced sleep paralysis a couple of times. It’s terrible.
I had sleep paralysis my whole life. I alway say Jesus that works for me. They always leave. My ex years ago I had trouble sleeping and had bad insomnia because of the horrible attacks and sleep paralysis there. I recall a whole night of attacks that lead me feeling tired all the time. I believe in sleep disorders and spiritual world. Makes me wonder what my ex was doing most if the time to have such a terrible place. He is a very mentally troubled person and controlling. I hope you never get it again. I had lucid dreams too. I love those.
so that's what it's called that happened to me when I was very young, I felt something drag me down to the foot of the bed and I was trying to scream but couldn't, it's a horrible feeling!

I’m pretty sure I’ve layed over at this hotel because it looks exactly the same. Anytime I walk into a room that looks dated or feels like there’s an energy, I pray. The God in us is bigger than any anything surrounding us. Also, not that you have but just a thought: anytime we entertain or express interest in ghosts and feed into it, we become a magnet to that realm.
I think you definitely had an encounter with some spirit. If fear came with it, it wasn’t light or pure, in my opinion. Stay well and most importantly prayed up! 🤍
It is a sleep situation like night terrors. Sometimes, I, too, would feel like the sheets are being slowly pulled off me before waking up and sitting up in bed with my heart pounding. I always found the sheets hadn't moved. It was all in my mind. I even put a Nest Camera in my bedroom with recording and would playback the nights I thought it happened and of course, I just saw myself jump up in bed, no movement to the sheets prior. Amazing the things the mind does. Those episodes were mild. The more stressful ones were dreams I had of trying to flee something where I would jump up and out of bed and walk 1/2 way across the room before fully waking up. One time I got caught up in the duvet when jumping up in bed and got completely disoriented and fell off the bed.
That's scary Stella. When I used to travel for work. I'd always pray over the room at the hotel in Jesus name. Stay safe. ❤

This was just a projection of your concerned crew members and checking on you for any threat! The fear combined with tiredness and your sleeping curfew discomfort.

night terrors are when you are in deep sleep. You act out the dream. You usually can’t remember it. I guess some people might. Sleep paralysis is when you body cant move but you open your eyes I get sleep paralysis a lot. I don’t get night terrors... i guess i might not know if i did. There is just so much more we know about minds and dreams. I do believe in spirits too. Have you had any?
@@daniellenorthrop8565 Years ago, when my son was seven years old, he had night terrors. He would wander all around the house, even go down to the basement, in tears and panicky. After such trauma he would have no memory of it the next day.

I'll be scare of sleeping with those dirty bed covers on, it should be the first thing to take off the bed and wash your hand, they never get clean that's why the call them covers. I worked in the hotel industry.
I have experienced something like this in the past in my own home and my own bed where I suddenly woke up from a deep, deep sleep and felt like someone was standing over me and touching me. Luckily my husband was by my side and woke up when I woke up screaming (I scared the you know what out of him). There was nothing or no one in our room or the house (he checked thoroughly) and we finally figured that I had been in such a deep sleep that my brain/imagination had manufactured this dream that felt so real. Our brains are amazing things and I think that when we are especially tired and in a very deep rem sleep, the dreams are especially real.
Did you check to see if someone else had reported the same experience in that room? Or did anything happen in this room? Now I am super curious.

I have been the victim of sleep paralysis where your brain is wide awake and you can't move. That is freaky, but no where near as freaky as what you experienced.
I've experienced the same thing. I wanted to jump out of my bed and run, but of course was preventing me from moving.
I had that too! It was more frequent when i was yonger. I belive this as to do with anxiaty, and it “atacks” more when you are relaxed and ready to sleep!
I had that happen to me too in 2009 when my mom passed. She was holding me down as I watched seagles fly around me.
I get sleep paralysis a few times a year. (For me, I think it is connected to my head’s positioning and fluid, since the pressure feels differently.) Several times, I’ve been able to wake up my body once my mind knows the paralysis is oncoming (which is a creepy, ominous feeling).
Funny, last night, I dreamt that I was sleeping and feeling the onset of sleep paralysis. In my dream, I was able to move my body to ward off the creepy feeling, but when I awoke, my body was in the same position, which is when I realized I was dreaming.
I experienced sleep paralysis ever since I was a little girl and I agree it is such a crazy and scary feeling..I have not had an event in a few years however, I used to experience it quite often..I tried to explain it to my husband but he just didn't get it but my auntie knows because she suffers from it also.. which used to help because I knew it was just dreaming even though you literally feel like you cannot move or wake-up..

Have you ever stayed at the Sheraton Gunter or the hotel Menger in San Antonio. Both of them are haunted. I know for sure the Sheraton Gunter is.....had a ghostly encounter there. This Ghost was a practical joker who like to move things. Like my shoes ended up in the suitcase of my friend.
Yes I have had an incident before that it made me feel like our loved ones are still around after their passing. My brother passed away and we checked into a hotel 1 day later. I had bulged disc in my back and I was in a lot of pain. I could not fall asleep. I tried for sometime. All of a sudden I felt like a feeling like a healing hand go over my body from head to toes. I felt like it was my brother and after that my pain subsided and I slept the whole night. Just pray and ask god’s healing hand upon you for his protection and he will. Hugs. If it was a spirit pray for their peace.

It kinda sounds similar to sleep paralysis, it's SO creepy and just leaves you feeling super shaken and anxious.
I will say I live in a house that someone died in about 10 years ago, and absolutely have a doors, lights, weird sounds problem and have woken up and the bedroom door is just open, even though it was snapped shut. One night a sink was running in a bathroom I never even use, on the other side of the house. A few times my laptop will be closed and asleep but youtube or whatever I was watching earlier in the day just randomly starts playing. Once a contractor was over & a tone on his phone went off and he was like that's weird...it was a game playing, that he had uninstalled! He asked me if weird stuff happens here & I was like uh...well you see...He was outta here so fast he awkwardly came back like fifteen minutes later being like oh yeah you need to pay me LOL It's funny because everyone was all on board with the ghost joke until I found out someone really did die here then everyone was like ok...but you know ghosts aren't real right. Eyeroll.
(the house was like dirt cheap and mostly because of the area but now I guess I really know why and why it has had just SO many owners/renters :p but I'm like yes I will live with a ghost if I only have to pay $800 in mortgage lmao so ghostie and I have just learned to co-exist. 100% true story)
I work for your company and I know that hotel you were in and I always thought it was creepy AF!! I’m a huge believer of ghosts. You need to leave the bathroom light on for a little light in the room. It would help. Total darkness is asking for trouble. You’d be good in a horror film-walking around in total darkness in your room looking around for ghosts with your phone’s flashlight!!😂 Sorry you got scared. I’ve had creepy things happen while sleeping on occasion and it’s totally alarming after it happens. Thanks for the cool story.
Yes! I NEVER sleep with all the lights off in a hotel room. Always crack the bathroom door or whatever.
Yes, its happened to me several times over the past 20 years in 3 different houses. I just tell it to leave me alone and go back to sleep. Sometimes, I think it's God wanting me to talk to him in the middle of the night so I'll start praying and praising.
I love talking to God he's so awesome and sometimes when I'm sleeping I'll hear him talking to me reminding me that I am his and that he loves me

I also think it’s a variant of the falling or kicking dream, where you are jolted awake. And the creepy vibe by the room inspired your subconscious and made it a scary dream.
But nonetheless, I would have gone down to the lobby, asked for a change of room, and insisted someone join me when I go grab my stuff.

I had sleep paralysis one time and thought I was getting ready to see my dad who had died a year ago. My mom died when I was 14 so when my dad would wake me up he would only come to my door and call me. So he passed when I was 21. I was asleep and I heard him call me clear as day. I thought I was partially awake with my eyes still closed. I could see light like it was early morning. I heard his voice again and tried to sit up but could not. I was flailing one arm trying to grab my husband, finally woke up and sat up. I had been in the deepest sleep possible but I still think my dad wanted to let me know he’s okay. I had more peace after that.

i agree the sheets were probably just sliding off because the amount hanging off the edge of the bed was dragging the rest down and she freaked out because of her coworker triggering that thought
No, there really are demonic entities, God is clear about that. And nothing to mess with. My son and I lived in a very haunted house in Norway. Very real, terrifying events also while we were fully awake, daytime, nighttime, it didn't matter. No one would stay there alone. Interesting because we didn't tell anyone what was happening. However, as a Christian woman who trusts in God, I turned it all over to Him. A lot of prayer ended the evil. And considering what was going on, it was definitely evil.
Wow, Stella, thank you for sharing this with us! That is crazy! Something scary happened to me recently on a recent hotel stay in Portland. I had fallen asleep around 10 PM and then around midnight something woke me up. It sounded like a fire alarm, and when I looked out the window, it looked like sparks of fire were coming out of the floor below me. It freaked me out, so I sprang out of bed and of course I felt faint (from getting out of bed so fast). A panic attack ensued as a result. I called the hotel front desk and someone came up and reassured me there was no fire. It turned out I was hearing the sounds of the city train which passed below us, and the “sparks” turned out to be these moths that were flying in front of my window, shining by the hotel lights. Sometimes when we are so tired or stressed our mind plays tricks! I have really enjoyed watching your videos! I hope to run into you someday when you’re at LAX (I’m there frequently taking pictures of the planes!)
Travel with a small night light to plug into the wall. I always do because I always trip on something when going to the restroom even in my own house 😹

I have had four incidents in my life when something unexplained occurred. Two of the times happened when I was in college. One was in the Animal Sciences building, and the second was in a small, seldom-used study lounge on the top floor of my dorm. Another event happened when my best friend from college visited me in a dream. He looked at me with the biggest, brightest, happiest smile. I could tell that he was soooo happy, but I had no idea why I would have that sort of dream about him. It was just very odd. Later that day, I received a letter from my dorm rector which stated that my best friend Brian had passed away a few weeks earlier. The final event happened during a visit to a mission in California...La Purisima. That particular event was extremely unnerving, and I will never visit that mission again. Things happen in life, but not all of them can be just rationally or dismissively explained away.

That was a night terror! I used to get those all the time as a teen. The mind plays such tricks on you when you are over tired. Once I even thought I was fully awake in the middle of the night, looking around my dark room, and I saw my door creek open. I started to scream in terror. It was my mom coming in to check on me and I was actually asleep when she came in and laying down with my eyes closed, and not screaming. To her it just looked like she startled me awake. I also had a lot of sleep paralysis at that time. Always as I was just going into REM sleep. I think it was caused by hormone shifts, and stress.

Usually nightmares are because you have to pee. Some blankets can fall slowly because of gravity alone. That is a funky hotel room, though. You probably need to sleep with at least one small light on and/or the drapes open.
This is exactly my thoughts. If you move enough, the right way your blanket will become off the bed enough to fall a bit. I move a lot during sleep my blanket is messed in the morning. I pull it to the right and it falls off the end and I have to pull it up. There is not someone pulling it everywhere I live or sleep.
Eek! Ghost stories! I always bring a nightlight when I travel! Couldn’t hurt to have one especially when you can’t find bedside lamp switch in a hurry! New role: Stella the Ghost Hunter!
Since you vlogged, check the footage of the room closely for orbs or shadows where there shouldn’t be shadows. I’ve caught several orbs on camera by taking several pictures after hearing strange noises or when my pets start acting strangely like staring at a particular part of the room for no reason.

I got the chills when you were telling what happened 😭😭😭😭 I’ve seen a ghost too. I was trying to sleep and a dark figure in a dark cloak,covered head to toe, was next to my head watching me.Just standing there and watching me!! I got up turned the light in my room and tried to fall back asleep and I felt the same sensation of being watched by that dark figure. I couldn’t fall asleep anymore because I was so scared for my life And ended up sleeping in my sisters room that night. Till this day I experience being watched by a dark figure sometimes. Did anyone else experience being watched by a dark figure Or it’s just me ?

20 years in my home this happened to me twice in my bed. Scared the crap out of me so I know how you feel. We had a encounter in a hotel a few years ago.
Omg i have had plenty of ‘weird’ experiences...more than I’d like 😂. One of the weirdest was in a hotel. A couple of friends of mine and i had gone on a trip way back in 2018. We checked into our hotel...my room looked super creepy. So, i asked for a different room. My new room was opposite the creepy room and my friends were right next door to the creepy room. That night, none of us could sleep because we heard lots of loud laughter and ‘partying’ coming from the ‘creepy’ room. So, we went at 05:00 am to the front desk to complain about the noises coming from the creepy room. Guess what! The creepy room had no guests because i had previously booked it for a few days. No one was in the room. What were the noises and the laughter then? Who knows. All cameras showed that nobody checked into the room. When the guy went to check the room, it was empty. True story! 😱
Hi Stella. About 2 weeks after my father died, I was in bed halfway between sleeping & waking up when I heard his voice .... clear as a bell ... and he said “Hi Cin” (short for CIndy). My eyes popped wide open. Didn’t see a thing, but I wore contacts and was blind as a bat without them. I’ve gotten LASIK since then😀. It never happened again. But, my mother who LOVED perfume passed away 5 years ago this month. So many times I walk into one of my upstairs rooms and there is a very strong smell of perfume. It’s not from me. I don’t wear perfume. It is a comfort to me. I truly believe that she is watching over me.
I had the same experience with a strong smell of perfume, and I don't wear it either. Several weeks after my mom passed away, I was sitting at the computer I would set up for her to play games on while I was at work...all of a sudden a cool breeze of sweetly scented perfume came from behind me and blew past me. I know it was her...I was in her chair. It never happened again...just a good bye from her.

Stella ! My friend who had passed came to visit me while I was staying in Swan and Dolphin Resort in Florida . As a child I had many experiences like this. Pray Love and light up a candle :)

I had a terrified experience in an hotel in Cork, Ireland. It was a lovely hotel but there was something strange about it. The hotel had different sections and we needed to go to the second floor walk an enormous corredor and then get a second lift to get to our room. I was there with my husband that was going to work the next morning. We slept well and he left very early to go to his job and I stayed in bed for a little longer. I fell asleep again when I felt that someone was pushing me down against the bed. It was like something very heavy was laying on top of me, and for some reason I could feel it was bad and I needed to run away from it. In this scenario I started to pray for God to let me get away from this thing and eventually I was able to free myself and run down the corridor but this thing was following me downstairs and I felt like I was running for my life. This is when I woke up. Off course I was sleeping but it felt so real and I never had an experience like this before or since. When I went to check out I saw a couple and they asked the receptionist what that hotel was before being an hotel and she answered it was a military hospital and after that a nursing home. The moment I heard that I knew that something strange happened in my room.
Yes.. this took me back to 2012 and the same exact incident happened with me and my roommate , we did an early morning flights and we were sleeping, it was room number 410 oh my God I will never forget this, wE both experienced the same things somebody was pulling of the sheets from our feet. I will never ever forget this.
I agree with you. I knew it was the 4th floor. I was trying to remember if it was 410 or 420. San Diego long hotel is also haunted. Don't go on the 5th floor.

It happened to me twice, I woke up and there was movement in the other room, sounded like someone was making a mess, then another time I heard the water running in the bathroom in the morning, went to check and nobody was there😳😨
I saw my grandma. I thought it was a dream. But I heard water running, just like you. And I was like who's showering at this hour. Lifted myself up. At the time my daughter used to creep into my bed. I noticed she was laying next to me. But then I see myself, looking down at my sleeping body laying next to my daughter. My spirit was halfway in and halfway out. Then I see the light to the bathroom click on, and the door was already halfway open and I see my grandma's reflection in the bathroom mirror. She had died 2 weeks prior to this "dream. I said to her grandma you're gone now. What are you doing here? She had her Sundays best dress on. Wig on. Powdered up her face. Guessing she was getting ready? She said " I know". She continued getting ready as I just watched like wtf. Then she closed the light walked off and said "OK, see you!" Not bye....see you...like see you later...

Wow, Stella! Quite the experience you had!! I've had 2 experiences. First time a couple days after my wife passed from cancer, second time after mom passed from old age. They were both just saying goodbye. So, it wasn't scary. In your case, that would be scary!
Stella, that exact same thing happened to my mom and it was the same moment my grandpa (her dad) passed away (she received the phone call of his dead two minutes later).... she believes it was him saying goodbye ❤

Let me start by saying, I believe. As a retired nurse we were always “seeing” the unexplained. A long time co-worker told me as you as you believe, and you show no harm then “they” leave you alone. Ive had stuff like that happen a lot in hotels and even at home. My home is my father looking over me. I believe that once he pulled the covers up for me because I was cold. My advise is to ask for “them” to not freak you out. It helps. The hotel in Pennsylvania was said to be haunted but I didn’t know that at the time. The hall that my room was in was very eerie. there was a thickness to the air, and it looked like the hallway in Tower of Terror. Dark. I just ignored the feeling but the group I was withy kept talking about weird stuff happening to them. I asked the hotel staff if they’ve ever heard of weird stuff and they said that hall was where someone passed. They had reports of people seeing shadows. Talk about hair standing straight up on the back of your neck. Try to remember, they wont hurt you as long as you wont cause them harm., Weird, I know, I BELIEVE! Love you and the fam. #bartella

I’ve had the tapping feeling on my back while I was fully awake. Took me forever to turn over and nobody was there.
Yes, this happened to me in an old hotel in Guanajuato Mexico. The covers were pulled off of me. I got so scared. It then happened to my sister sleeping in the same room. We told the front desk what happened and they changed our rooms. After that it never happened again during our stay there. It was something we couldn’t explain. It was a really old mansion that was converted into a hotel. So who knows what happened in that old house.
I’m so sorry that happened to you! I would encourage you to pray and just call on Jesus to come to your room and bring His light and peace.
Stella!!! How horrifying for you. I've seen a ghost before and it's the scariest thing. I didn't know the person I seen which I thought was weird. I love that you wanted to help whatever it was, even in your fear, you wanted to help. I feel that most of the time the "thing" just needs some guidance.
Just believe and when you do more spirits will come to you. When I walk into my house I can “feel” the presence. If you don’t want them there, just say out loud “please leave”. The intensity of your voice sends the command. I know some people think this is crazy and anyone who believes in spirits is crazy. Maybe so, but I like to think it is a loved one just coming to say hello. I have had many, many experiences and most have been a calming feeling. Just think about someone who is not with you anymore...maybe a grandmother or an aunt or uncle. It’s all okay.

Years ago I was Antique shopping in an old building in rural Wesrern New York. It was a large 3 story building that looked like it may have been a school at one time. As I went through the building shopping,I just had the oddest feeling, like I couldnt breath, and I felt like I was in a crowd of people, but I wasn't. I could not wait until I got out of there. On the way out, I asked someone, what did this used to be? It was a poor house and an "insane asylum " in the past. Now it's called Rolling Hills Asylum, in Bethany, NY. Well known to ghost hunters, and psychics. Not ever going back there!👻👻

I haven't encountered anything Paranormal either, but I did hear if you do you say 'Hello, May I be of assistance', in case they need help 'passing over'. So you have have the right attitude, Stella! hehe The only time 'I think ' I've seen anything is when I've been very tired or just woke up in the night, so maybe it's just your subconscious still active after a busy day. That wall shutters divider thing would make me feel unconformable in an unfamiliar place though!
I have had this happen to me but in my own bedroom many years as I have moved! However in 1969 onwards my parents had a hotel in Cornwall England and that was definitely haunted! So I know the feeling your poor lady!

that's a spooky experience, Stella. I don't think i would have got back into that bed. I am firmly convinced where I work is haunted cos i was once in the staff toilets, and there was nobody else about and the hand dryers just started going for no reason at all. I made a rather hasty exit and screamed down the corridor!!!

I used to not believe as much as I do now. What pushed me into believing totally was a duplex we moved into. We lived in the top half of a house. We felt was an upgrade from living in an apartment. It was 3 bedrooms. We had 2 kids, one of them being a newborn. We were excited to give each of them their own room. When I was preparing the nursery for our youngest things felt weird. We had an old floor model TV that would turn on even when it was NOT plugged in. Things felt so weird in that room I would not let my son sleep in there, so we used it for storage. Then, in our kitchen there was a door with a lock and deadbolt with a screen door on the other side that went out to a terrace that over looked the river. That door would open on its own! I would sit in the living room and hear the outdoors more and feel a breeze and look in there and it would be open. I KNOW I would deadbolt it! I would make sure of that! Because I thought I was going crazy. I started telling my husband and neighbors what I was experiencing. The neighbor downstairs told me she heard a lot of little foot steps but just felt it was my kids upstairs. I would let her know where had not been home. Then one day my husband was talking to the next door neighbor who he had discussed some of the weird stuff with. And she told him there was a family that lived there years past that had a little boy who got hit and killed by a car that had a bedroom upstairs (I STILL have goose bumps telling this and it has been more than 20 years since this). The next day, I was sitting in the living room and just felt a weird feeling. I looked in the kitchen because when I felt this, the dead bolted door would have opened on its own. I was expecting to see that. Nope! Not this time! The FRIDGE had been dragged into the center of the kitchen!!!!! ripped the vinyl floor too! My husband had been skeptical to believe me until he couldn't explain away that. WE BROKE OUT LEASE! and moved out that night! Come to find out the land lords had had tons of trouble keeping tenants. GEE I wonder why?!?! I will never ever ever forget all that. I am a huge believer since then. I don't think the spirit, ghost, whatever it was...was bad, I think it wanted attention. Not bad attention. Just wanted to share the space with us.
I have been visited on several occasions by spirits. It is a surreal feeling. I also have a spirit ( at least I think so) that visits and brings the over powering smell of cigarette smoke.

I woke up in the middle of the night once, and was convinced someone was breaking into my house through the guest room window. I saw the window was open, I had heard the noise of the window opening. I was so convinced someone was outside my house, that I ran out into the darkness, got into my car, backed out of my driveway a bit, so I could shine my headlights down into the back of my property. After not seeing anything, I came back into the house and went back to the guest bedroom to shut the window, and the window was closed and locked. I’m thinking that I’m just a super vivid dreamer. Who knows, right?
I would've so intrigued but so freaked out at the same time. I watch too many scary ghost movies to like not have a heart attack if I experienced that 😂
