- Welcome to Taos, New Mexico!
Join me on this, the 1st of 7 stops, of a 15 day trip through New Mexico, Colorado, and Utah.
Though it isn't the first video I've shared, it is the first adventure I decided to start recording and it definitely shows. It took me 9 months to decide to share it.
There were an additional two stops at the end of this trip, but I ran out of space on the memory cards to record it.

You pronounce Tacos like you would say it in Spanish. Lol. The Spanish invaded the area within "New Mexico" and raided Indian Pueblo villages during that time. After several years of wars between the Spanish and the Commanche, the Spanish ended up settling there. Then if I recall, once New Mexico became a U.S. Territory, there was "peace" between the Spanish and Tribes. It's an interesting historical town. =)

Great video especially for those who think that New Mexico isn't pretty. Nothing like standing on that bridge when a tractor-trailer goes over.....serious pucker factor.
HAHA! Ain't that the truth! I noticed that when driving across it, decided I had no need to stand on it. New Mexico is such a gorgeous state with so many hidden gems. I always love my time spent there.

It would be nice to see you and all my other friends there. I think it would be fun to hike and see the volcanos. I also want to see the famous Quetzal.

@@skeeterstravels3214 for hiking around end of November,Dicember and January. And yes you need yo say calidad 😂, ley me know when do you plan to visit and I get the people together so we can go on a hike.

I have a pair of tracking poles but I haven't used them yet. I'm gonna take then out next time I go for a trail!!
