Your Circe design seems like she’s the oldest (oldest as in she’s the oldest physically) of the three ones that I’ve really seen. Gigi’s feels like she’s in her early twenties, Anni’s I’m her thirties, and yours is in her forties
Thank you! I did a lot of research in regards to how ancient Greeks begged for forgiveness and I considered having Ody hold Circe's dress at one point while kneeling and being submissive but thought against it.

Aligning that story of horrific violence visited upon a sexual or romantic rival with the otherwise seemingly-touching sentiment of "I have been in love once before" was something I found pretty chilling -- especially given Scylla's really creeptastic depiction later in the story.

It's actually a part of the story: Glaucus was the Old Man in the Sea who asked Circe to create a love potion to enchant the nymph Scylla...but Circe fell in love with Glaucus and cursed Scylla instead.

Granted, this is the take that Jorge is going with (he points out Circe's motif showing up in moments related to Scylla, after all) but as with all the Greek myths, they get muddled and murky at times.

It's a tie in to the next animatic I'm making, which is Underworld. According to the myths, Circe instructed Odysseus to do some ritual to get to the Underworld, including TRIGGER WARNING - animal sacrifice, specifically a lamb.
In the myth he actually does sleep with her and he has three children by her and she allows his men to stay on the island for a short while before he has to leave and she gives him a tip on how to find his way back home by going to the underworld and then warning him about the sirens
The epic the musical saga about circe is the only reason i decided to read a book i got for Christmas, it's supposed to basically be her diary, i love how you included the man she turned into a god though, probably who she was referring to, could also be hermes though from what ive read
