The car was OK. You can get a lot faster of a car but for what it's worth I liked the way the car came out with the stripes, tint and rims matching. Also wish they didn't make them FWD but it was a bit of a fun car.
It's just a K&N drop in replacement filter you can find at most auto stores. 5.3 liter GM. I had a cold air intake on it but put it back to sell it California has strict smog laws.
She was clean fr. I got one of these and I'm debating to go 20s or 22s.. How was the ride quality with 22s? Any loss of performance compared to the stock 18s?
OK so I add the 22 and also the stock rims. It rode well on the 22s easy. Definitely very daily driveable. The stocks personally I didn't like as I prefer a bumpy ride haha. But it wasn't too bumpy with the Lexanis. Oh and I did some research on my vehicle. 1 of 300 something made ever in that color. If you look back at my videos I had to repaint the whole front end because the previous owner let it sit for years under a tree with sap. Doing the stripes was the hardest but turned out decent. Made 1k off it when sold. The kid that bought it was interested in the 22 I told them that they were sold when they really were not. He found out later that I still had them so he bought them later for 500 haha.
@@CamaroLSskateboarding Thx for the reply! Yeah I never seen that color on these cars before, super rare. Yours was in great condition with lower miles on it. I paid 8500 for mine but it had about 107k miles. So the 22s just bolt right on? No cutting or anything extra to get them to fit properly? Now I'm highly considering the 22s
@@AIRLav hah i paid the same! sold for a 1000 more plus 500 for wheels but probably barely broke even because of all the paint supplies. Yes I believe no spacers for the 22s but realize that these are FWD cars so they take certain bolt pattern rims not 5x4.75. I was gonna put the 22s on my 2002 Camaro but its a standard bolt pattern and the FWD Monte I think is 5x120mm. Not positive but be sure before you go buying any wheels. But yeah clearance for the most part worked it rubbed a bit on U turns not bad. Most everyone I know does NOT like the 22s on it they were saying somewhat racist things to me even about it but I like big rims personally. I bought it off an African American guy we actually became good friends afterwards but for some reason where I live (a bit south of Sacramento) my friends were talking shit on the rims, I could care less. My friend is white like me and has a lowrider with hydraulics and loves like 13 inch rims so we are the opposite.
@@AIRLav And my car looked flawless but it was keyed minorly and had other flaws minor in the paint from the hood back because like I said I painted the hood and front bumper. I wanted to do the whole car at home but that's a tall order.
I got it with a resonator delete and flow masters. All stock I made my own cold air intake and I got a Dyno tune. Look at my shorts I think the dinosaur tune video is on there. That thing was weird man with so much power front wheel drive it was like driving a go cart
Kind of wish I didn't sell it but I just do that with cars it's definitely a lot rare car than a Camaro I think it was 1 of 300 something. Nobody knows about these
Ok thanks for the reply..I cant wait to start building mine up.. everything is stock on mine.. do they have a supercharger in them already? I thought they came with one
I have 2007 Monte SS for sale here in MN.. has some rust on the wheel well but very clean inside and out! Selling for 5500 140kmiles runs good and strong! Let me know if you want photo/video.
This car has been sold for a while. You can see the Camaro I bought after it I sold that as well. I sold this car for around 10 without the rims. I put the stocks back on and told the kid that I had sold the 22s because he saw them but I didn't. He found out months later I had them so I gave them to him for $700. Expensive rims.
The car was front wheel drive which made it seem like driving a go kart. I do recommend them although the engine displacement is a bit small for me I would like it at least to be 5.7 if it had a 6 liter and rwd I'd buy 10 of them. But I stupidly almost crashed my Camaro in my next door neighbors front yard very stupid so I just got rid of it it was immaculate condition I sold it for a loss but I made up for it in other ways I'm not sure what I'm gonna do when it comes to cars I think I might get a police interceptor next. But I do miss both but they are just cars. Funny thing is I've had way faster cars and I almost wrecked that Camaro pretty badly I was just being stupid after watching the Mike Tyson thing on hulu it got me all pumped up took my Camaro out started spinning donuts because I've never really tested that car I just got crazy I was like almost manic. Came in super hot on my fuckin street and just FUCKED UP. CHECK OUT MY DYNO TUNE VIDEO
