I got questions on how hard was it and cost ?
I wanted a ls4 for my car to be rwd but the problem is the starter position with a rwd transmission, how did you get around that?
i dont remember having any starter clearance issues. the whole build from start to finish is on here in a playlist, worth the watch if you have the time, covers everything we did to it.
@@chevyfarmersgarage1955 ty, I had heard I’d get problems with where the starter is placed if I swaped it to rwd transmission but idk.
I found a real cheap 5.3 from a truck so I won’t be needing that. but tysm for the reply
I want to do this in the future but with a manual. Do you think that’s possible and if so do you also think you can do it for me?
a manual would work, just be more fabrication to make the clutch setup work properly, we have other projects lined up before we tackle another one like this. i need to finish my 67 firebird, i have a 69 ss chevelle to do, and a 55 chevy also
I have a LS1 and T56 transmission for sell on Omaha Nebraska Craiglist
Is there a kit for it’
no
wanna build a regal next lol
still not done with the monte 100%. takes alot of $ and time
How can I make my 2008 ss impala all wheel drive? 🤔
Put the body on a Tahoe frame
I’m thinking about doing this to my Monte Carlo how much did this project cost I’m thinking about buying a 07 Camaro ss and swapping it out to my 07 Monte v6 to make it a rwd v8
How much to convert my 06 monte carlo
What’s a est amount to perform this conversion
What would you charge someone to do this for them? 👀 I’ve thought about getting 06-07 SS but want it to be rwd with a 6.0 or 6.2
Update???
What seats?
Original ones
About how much it'll be to convert to RWD I have a 2007 SS
depends on exactly what you want and who does the work. there can be no set price, too many variables, inflation is crazy right now so compared to what is in frankie i would say add another 20% more easy?
@@chevyfarmersgarage1955 I wanna put a nice High performance LS with supercharger in it
Is this possible in the 07 ss?
yes
could this be done for around 20k?
if you did it yourself.
I heard a 750 carb makes those work...
going to try the 600 and a 750 on it at the drag strip
@@chevyfarmersgarage1955 I have a blue 07 Monte Carlo SS 5.3 deleted cats... I wish I could get mines rear wheel drive. 🤦
How much would you charge me to do this to my SS? I’m local in iowa
😍😍😍😍😍

how much would you charge to help me make my intrepid an intrepid "hellcat" lol? (hellcrate motor with awd conversion. with some chassis reinforcement so the power doesn't twist the unibody construction up like a pretzel)
How much do u charge for this
Sweeet!
What do you think it weighs?
just a guess would be 3200 lbs. would like to weigh it though
Put the ss body on it plz😭😭😭
plans are to do that
Do you have any ideas on how to fix the steering geometry??
most likely a different spindle that is factory front steer. have not dug that far into the problem yet.
@@chevyfarmersgarage1955 okay you’ll have to update us when you figure it out... and what did you do for a driveshaft?? Did you have one made ? Or where you able to use one out of something?
@@superknuckles884 will do. used a crown vic driveshaft, just remember depending on what trans and where the engine is mounted would change the driveshaft length
@@chevyfarmersgarage1955 okay that’s something good to remember... thanks for the advice and keep up the good work love the build
