Yeah the Kitchener Mule coin was shown on one of Christopher's videos way back in September. It belonged to Bo, and Christopher stole his thunder by mentioning it before Bo's vid was shown (We are still waiting THAT vid 😂). It's going to be such an anti-climax when it airs! Very nice Magna Carta Paul, and the Kitchener's were out in force today (probably looking for their mate you discarded 😁). My guess would be 31st December 2025. Start 2026 with new coins (hopefully).
A good selection of commemoratives, and quite a few spaces filled in your book. Tunisian 5 dinar is the odd coin of the hunt. I reckon the £2 will be phased out on 31 March 2024.
Two pound coins are my favourite, a nice big area for commemorative designs. Will be sad to see them go, hopefully replaced with a similar bi metallic coin, but harder to fake.

They’re getting their 25th anniversary on the £2 coins out of the way very soon & I think that already signals a celebration finale. I reckon it will be as soon as next January 1st 2023.A wide range of finds CP.

Jan 2025 Paul. But I think they will bring in another multi faceted replacement, similar to the new design £1 coin which I believe to be almost impossible to fake. I fear though that there will be no more commemoratives on general release and we will just get a definitive coin. Commemoratives will all be NIFC's.

Really enjoyed the hunt mate, bit surprised when I saw £2 coins but still good stuff. Stopped collecting them a while back when I had a really bad fake in my change. I think April 28 2023 is good bye to this type £2. Jammy bugger with that manga by the way.
With the amount of fakes sadly I think the £2 coin will be gone by Jan 1st 2030. Unless the royal mint can come up with a new definitive design that is harder to copy.
