  • If you know the stall point of your glider, you can prevent negative flight. In this video, Air Time teaches us how to avoid and recover from it.
Your flight is over for the day and you're preparing to land. There's a strong breeze on the landing field, but you've accounted for this well in advance; you're approaching into the wind. In your mind, you plan the circuit. However, during the landing, the wind blows harder than you anticipated. You nervously start the turn to the crosswind leg, but your canopy doesn't seem to respond; it only seems to fly straight. A hard yank on your control line should change this, and there's the great danger of going negative. This video delves into this danger: how to prevent it and how to recover from it. Ayke Jager from Air Time shares tips with us.
