    As always a wonderful tutorial on a much anticipated feature on a great synth. 🙏👍 (A little aside, can't you mount the mirror half way between the Opz and the camera? that should put your face on the same focal plane as the Opz...and therefore be in focus? Just a thought)
    EDIT: Actually, now that I think about it. It's more complicated since youre probably not sitting right above the camera. But off to the side and then it become much more difficult to calculus the lengths with angles and such😅

    Would that possible?

    • @truecuckoo
      @truecuckoo  4 года назад +2

      Yeah I think you’ll need an adapter of sorts. The headphones jack I believe is one of those three channel jacks, the stuff you’d see on a headset with a microphone. Stereo out, mono in. So you’d need a sort of adapter for getting a mono jack input. I haven’t tried this myself, but I believe there are solutions for it. Perhaps iRig would be a solution? Ok thanks so much. I was sampling outside with lots of noise level and just getting my head around how to control this so though a better mic would do but will think more creatively about this.

    Hey Cuckoo, yet again a great video. I wonder if you have tried the OP-Z with something like the nanoPAD2? or any other pad based midi controller?

    Question: I have a mic/headphone splitter cable plugged into the aux jack on the opz. I can hear the audio I want to sample before I sample it, when I sample it gets a bit louder indicating that it is sampling. But when I play the sample back... it was the mic on the opz not the internal recording I was hearing. So it basically sounds like the AC and the TV. Lol. So what the hell. Is there a way to turn the mic off. The opz is flat and there is no light on the side with the mic so does not seem to be on. Is it a glitch?

      The native way to select the mic as an in source is by pressing the mic button on the headset. But there’s a hidden shortcut for activating it in the scenario when there’s no mic button, I think it’s by pressing shift+screen (the square icon back side button), while in rec mode.

    hello True Cuckoo, I just bought the OP-Z, and I have a doubt to see if someone solves it, the kick goes in the first line, but can I put more kick in the following? , and if so, how?

    can you plug a usb sound card in for recording ? and could it support different output from different tracks

    • @truecuckoo
      @truecuckoo  5 лет назад +1

      It doesn’t support connecting external audio interfaces to the OP-Z. The OP-Z sends out the stereo output over USB audio. No multi track.
