Current BMW i4 M50 owner , so boring, so expensive... My next EV will def be one of the Chinese car. Take a look at Avatr11 Avatr 12, you will be blown away.
I really like this car, the only let down potentially based on others feed-back might be the Yamaha branded sound system which apparently is inferior to Harman Kardon or Burmeister. Will test for myself in due time. I really liked the Jaguar i-Pace but slow charging, low efficiency and reliability is a concern so the Zeekr might be a better overall package. A let down is that space wise (passengers, luggage) it is moreless the same while length is 4.95 rather than 4.66 cm which means lots of space wasted in the Zeekr ?
"which apparently is inferior" are you listening to very loud classic music? otherwise you are not gonna notice a difference. btw. i small tiny woofer does the magic with any car sound system :)
@@ErLeuchten I listen to many different type of music from jazz to classic, funk, soul, Afrobeat etc and also electronic music like house garage. Right now I have a fantastic Mark Levinson system in a Lexus and at home Wilson Audio speakers powered by Bryston monoblocs. I will test for myself because I’m a bit surprised that Yamaha would have messed up it’s first car audio and wonder if the two feed-back I saw on youtube (one from Bjorn Nyland and another I forgot the name might no audiophile, in fact Bjorn is the first to say he is not an audiophile and people should test for themselves).
Wonder Seekr will have the same problems with app connectivity that the rest of the Geely brands have (Polestar/Volvo). I have not until today met anyone who are pleased with the connectivity, and the were rated the worst of all brands in a EU text recently. Not sure where the issue is but I suspect server capacity. What do you think?
App (Polestar) is definitely not great, but I am still kind of happy with it (does those basic things OK in my case). But could be much better of course.
this car looks amazing…. Why do you compare everything to other car brand? give the Chinese a little bit credit for the design. After all, they. got all of the German designers….

To me, how a regime treat their population and how they present themselves to the rest of the world actually weighs more then the few extra thousand dollars I'd have to pay to not have to support their defacto dictatorship. I'm not blonde enough that I believe my current cars are "china free", but I also reserve the moral high ground to not give all the money to an oppressive dictatorship. These things may not matter to you, but they very much so, do to me.

I take comfort in some of the money I pay for these consumer products actually going to hard working Chinese people, but I reserve the moral high ground to limit the amount of money that goes to their overlords. I’d be happy with that but the chances of it coming to Canada are probably not good right now. Tried to contact Zeekr with no success.
Same I love this car. They maybe bringing it to US/Can 2024/2025. I'm going with Blazer EV. I'll sell my Blazer and buy Zeekr 001 in a heartbeat.
