FYI, Residential IP's are not autoblocked from any commercial mail server. Thats just not true in any way unless they specifically got banned by abusing spam, but in general they are far from blocked. If you take the time to understand and setup the proper certs for any IP it will deliver into ANY commercial mail server (IE: gmail, hotmail, yahoo) I have personally setup 100's of mail servers and they all send with zero problems. So you can 100% use your own mail server, and it will work great. You do have to setup DNS, certs and etc but it will work solid... You dont believe me, I be happy to show ya. The problem is not the commercial mail servers, but your ISP who will deter you from running your mail server by blocking common ports like port 25. But you can get around that with some determination and grit. They ( ISP's) dont make it easy but its doable..and worth it for freedom and control.

I'm going to install the Synology mail server because I have many accounts attached to my OWN domain, and hosted by GOOGLE. Now they are forcing me to PAY for it...
In my case, I never SEND emails, I just receive... So it will be OK for me to host in the synology.
