Nice project and very cool switches. I remember seeing similar ones in Mechlabor studio reel-to-reel tape machines. Good memories - I'd get a bunch of those for an OBS scene switcher project :)
Excellent selection of hardware components! Although I am a huge fan of Cherry MX compatible mechanical switches, I have to admit the step switches look pretty cool :)
What a great implementation! Feels very much like the CopierMaschine function in the Ornament & Crime, which has a pseudo-analogue shift register with four 1v/oct outputs. Interesting stuff. Look forward to seeing this progressing
Very nice indeed! If I may ask, where did you get those black and white switches with the LEDs in them? I really need some for a project I am working on 👾🤖🎶
I love using custom PCB's with mounting points for breakouts. It's a nice step between "bodge of wires" and "fully custom PCB".
same! also if something happens to a component then it makes it more repairable
Thanks for the video..look forward to your next video update on this project
thanks! i'm hoping to get some serious work done on it the next two weeks
I love hearing your thought process and design ideas at this early stage of the build. Can't wait to see this one take shape!
thanks Sophy!
I love your creativity! I look forward to seeing how it progresses.
thank you so much!

thanks! yeah these switches would make a great OBS controller
:-) Always good to see a video from you in my feed.
thank you!
Really looking forward to seeing how this turns out!
thank you!

thanks! i still have a soft spot for the cherry mx switches too and definitely want to do something musical with them at some point

thanks! and i actually wasn't aware of that module so i'll have to check it out!
Amazing to listen to this woman and having no clue what it's about. Fun.
Ah this is so lovely, really nice balance of choice of hardware and interface. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out 😊
thank you so much! making this video actually helped me to better visualize it so now i'm super excited to get cracking on it
Really excited for this! Hoping to get some synth stuff done in the new year, so hopefully this will inspire me. No pressure 🙂
oh excellent! this is good motivation 🙂
I can Not wait to watch this series of videos! 🏆👍🏼👍🏼
