So impressed how calm and rational Trent was able to be. He will be a good lawyer 👍

This taped dialogue is unbelievable. What a couple of cowards these people are. Have they considered that it is their contributions to victimhood culture that makes "triggering" an issue on campus? Way to keep your cool Trent. Just let to clowns keep talking.

It just seems they have no self awareness on this issue. They seem to live in a different reality than I do . I’m against racism but they are literally trying their best to find it anywhere. It’s like they are trying to make up for past racism by being so overboard in the present . It’s bizarre

They are handsomely compensated to not be aware of their own complicity

It reminded me of transcripts I've read of Inquisition trials. "We're doing this for your own good, just confess and it will all be over. You're immortal soul is at stake."

Moaist Cultural Revolution level stuff. Public confessional, ganging up on an individual, and presumption of guilt. Yale has never sunk lower in my estimation.

Sometimes I think what people should do in these situations is simply tell the "diversity" (English translation: conformity) department that this is none of their business; that the students who complained need to mind their own business; that the "diversity" dept. and the students who complained about something totally harmless should be the ones to apologize.
But, then again, you could say that this looks exactly like the mentality that has existed within academia and the corporate world for a long, long time. Unfortunately, that sort of stifling and paranoid environment seems to have spread to the outside world like some kind of loathsome slime mold.

This is straight out of the Soviet playbook. He needs to confess and undergo re-education before a committee of “correct” thinkers. My Catholic friends used to confess their sins, obtain absolution, and move on to the next week’s confession session. Perfect. The helper is bizarre, confused and evil.

Laywers worried about "triggerings" and "words"? What do they think will happen in a courtroom? Non-triggering words while walking on eggshells? Good god, what the hell ever happened to "having your day in court"????

    • @brianmeen2158
      @brianmeen2158 Год назад +1

Yeah I fail to see how they think they are getting their students ready for the real world. Instead they are making everyone so hyper sensitive and looking to be offended at everything.

Jonathan Kay rocks. Diverse education and career at the top.
“Has a BEng and an MEng in metallurgical engineering from McGill University and a law degree from Yale Law School.”

Nobody has done anything wrong yet the 'injury' still requires a written apology. #traphouse

He should sue Yale and these 2 college employees and roll it into a PhD thesis... The fact he is Asian should help him.
Why are these Yale employees telling him how he should feel and think.

5000 administrators? At $100k per, that would be half a billion dollars in salary annually. What a misallocation of resources!

I honestly really do not like even thinking about how much they make and what little they do. They are responsible for removing the ‘racist rock’ last year. What’s worse is they are the ones that constantly
      Moan about ‘equity’…

Correct administrative response to complaints about use of "traphouse" in party invite: "That is none of our concern." Or "You're just gonna have to cope...somehow!"
So, yeah, things are WILDLY off-kilter.

He should have made them write the apology, taken it, and then used it to troll them.
Then he should have hosted another party.

Expensive unnecessary virtue signal hammers desperately searching for a nail and when they see anything that could possibly be construed as such they pounce in a callow attempt to justify their existence .
