At first when I heard about people wanting Isaac in Smash, I got so annoyed because I thought he was the most overrated thing ever. I looked into the game he was from and it was not interesting at all at first. Then I started watching more videos about it and listened to the soundtrack. Then I downloaded it on the Wii U since I couldn’t download it on anything else. I thought I wasted money after not touching it for a few days. When I finally started to play it, I realized that I didn’t only spend my money well on a game, but some of the best memories I have ever made playing through the game. I will never regret playing this game. Happy Golden Sunday everyone!
When I first got GS1 I thought it was a nice little game to waste an evening on at the time... then I realised I had played it through the whole night 🤣
Being poor my family was never able to afford any new things. Especially electronics. I was 8 years old when a neighbor was going door to door selling his Gameboy for only 10$. My dad bought it and as fate would have it, Golden Sun was inside. I didn't really know about games so when I started to play, I fell in love with it. Music, style and overall adventure into alchemy, psynergy and dijinn! I finished and cried as Isaac, Mia, Ivan and Garet sailed off, To be continued. I found the lost age at the flea Market shortly after. I cried again... how much I love this game. I'm glad there's still people who know and love it as much as I do! Aqua Rock and Tundria Tower will forever be my favorite. The music and games were an experience... in Tundria tower ost you can hear the ice in the music. I'm 26 now and I own both American and Japanese versions of gba cartridges( w/ covers) I'm investing in getting the boxes with Manuals! Golden Sun is actually one of the first games to make me realize that video games could be...more. They could be more than fun shooters or platformers. They could have stories. They could evoke feelings. They could have amazing music. It's funny to think about.
That was Ocarina of Time for me, but I can certainly see Golden Sun having that effect on people, after all, it was the game that made me fall in love the with JRPG genre.
Man, Golden Sun was actually one of the first games I ever played.. It’s like a core memory for me and so I make a habit of revisiting it from time to time. One of favorite games still. Makes me so sad that we will never get that fourth game😭

Golden Sun is my favorite rpg since I was a child back in 2002. Really loved it's story, gameplay, worldbuilding, and specially it's music. I am really gratefull to you for such delightfull orchestral arrangements that drive me to that old good days in the Venus lighthouse at the end of a long school day. I honestly would've been fine if you were saving it to cap off everything after you'd worked your way through every other GBA track, but the 20th Anniversary Golden Sunday is the perfect time for it. Goodness I needed that. I remember ten years ago, desperately seeking good covers of Golden Sun songs and barely finding any and if there were, it was ambient dungeon music, which is already great, but not my favourites. This song means so much to me and I'm so glad I just found this. Thank you.
Hearing this arrangement brings so much good memories and reminder of why I love Golden Sun's OST and my personal introduction of Motoi Sakuraba's work. Even though it's late, I will be making artwork to celebrate Golden Sun 20th anniversary. It's a series that I want to come back, and honestly, I always envision a Golden Sun inspired game-- part of which I want to work on by learning some game design.

MAN THIS IS CRAZY! 2 days ago i was thinking about Golden Sun without reason and i started to search music of the game yesterday and just today i got here. There are some news of a new project about a possible next game "just rumors" but maybe... just maybe will get a nice game.... this game and its lore has a lote of potential to even be a MMORPG with its awesome music and YOU ARE THE PROOF.
