I enjoy watching Paul and Quentin's casual conversations. Nice guitar - and Quentin.. from 5:42 to & 7:42 was the most beautiful thing you've ever played. I think you were in that magical musical place that we all hope to visit. I hope you'll record an album with some pieces like that.
Quinton really nailed the description of the sound you get from a 000. It has some depth of bass but not an overwhelming amount. And the thing absolutely shouts! I’ve played a 000-28 for 30 years and it definitely holds its own in an ensemble setting.
Next to a Huss and Dalton TOM-R that is pretty much the sweetest sounding guitar I've ever heard. I got the impression that Quinton really wanted to take this one home with him.
As I have gotten older, I have migrated away from the rosewood back and sides toward mahogany, but the tone of this guitar is absolutely killer. I wish I had the disposable income to buy this one. I’m envious of whoever gets this beauty.
I have one of these Custom 00028 Authentic Aged in Natural color, and it's a great Martin guitar! We have noticed that Martin has stopped referring to these as an Authentic on their web site, and it will be interesting to see if the next series that they produce even mentions Authentic Aged on the head block inside of the guitar. Instead Martin is now referring to this model as the Custom Shop 000-28 1937. Excellent video with Quinton's playing. Thanks for producing these Paul!
Hi Paul and Quinton: Why do only Gibsons (like the J-45 and J-15) have that compressed and quick decay quality which is just so darn pleasing and full of character?
Another fine Martin 000-28! Adirondack tops with an amber tone finish have that extra special appeal, thanks Quinton and Paul! I love Quinton’s playing in today’s segment. Any chance he could do a longer session?
Yes, great little piece 😍… sounding kinda Derek Truckish overJimmy Pageish 😂… And in case Quinton should be looking for a title, how about “Stage One” 😉
Just wanted to say thanks for the kind words! It was "original", though effectively a mash up of melodies and licks I like to use out of that tuning; likely pulled from other tunes I've heard in the celtic finger style genre - so somewhat off the cuff, but not quite "just messing around" :)
Sorry about that. Should be updated now with the new link. And I'll also paste that here.... musicvilla.com/collections/martin/products/martin-000-28-custom-authentic-aged-ambertone-7562

Why is it every time I hear Quinton playing a great guitar, I want to go play my guitar to see how it compares. Thanks Paul and Quinton.
Same here and that’s a good thing!
Beautiful playing Quentin
I wish people understood that 000 Martins also sound good when flatpicking. They are more versatile than people give them credit for.
Extremely versatile. In fact maybe Martin's most versatile guitar

Just love the 000 body...you can just wrap yourself around it an enjoy it all. gorgeous guitar and playing. keep up the authentic reviews.
Have a 000-28 ambertone from a few years ago. Very nice guitar for blues.

Think of it as an investment.

I know you can't see them when you're playing them, so what's looks? But then I'd spend hours just looking at this beauty if it were mine. Wow!

Beautiful guitar! I have an OM 18 Authentic 1931 which is the same color. It is my favorite!
I’ll take it! Thanks!!!
What a sound🤩 Quentin, always amazing! And thanks Paul ! Keep it up
Absolutely stunning ...🎶🎶🎶
Beautiful guitar, beautifully played
To echo Quinton” not enough money or room”, but it sure looks and sounds good. Thank you
I am also very much a mahogany guy, but this is a super cool guitar and looks fantastic.
I watch a lot of your videos and just noe realized how good Quentin is on guitar.
I'm more of a mahogany fan but this one really had a sweet voice!
Sounds amazing
Quinton wants it.... and I agree.
Very nice guitar I have this in the standard 000-28 amber tone and it is very nice but this one sounds a little better nice video
I think that’s the best looking Martin by far. Haven’t gotten a chance to play it yet.
i have some good guitars like collings, gibson and this martin same color model without aged. this one is really nice. i am lucky to have this one.

Having everything I could want with my D18 this 000-28 has replaced new golf shoes at the top of Santa's list.
Ha! Good luck. Hope Santa takes care of you! ✌🏼
Wow the best
This is it! 😯
Soooooo sweet.
Quinton King. What a gift.
Damn, what a beautiful piece that was Quinton played! Is that an original?
Indeed. And, Quinton, please don't come up saying "oh, i was just messing around" or we all go to bury ourselves.

Lol that's cool he says. One of the best sounding Martins ever made. And says that's cool
Nice!
Wow, you know how to sell guitars Doc. Severe case of GAS every time we watch these Martin, Taylor, Gidson demos.
got the wrong scale length in the description fyi
these hold up well with med strings?
can anyone tell the tuning he's using?
Hi Joao - I'm in DADGAD for the first part of the demo, then back to standard for the strumming. Thanks for watching!
@@quintonking9960 thank you! beautiful playing :)
If you've got the money you could do far worse then Martin custom shop. Ambertone rocks!
i bought 2 from these guys...including a sick custom shop
@@soofitnsexy which one did you get
I'm gonna lose some sleep over this one. 😕
Listen up Elon Musk… send this beauty home to Quinton before Christmas comes! 😁
I opened the link 20 minutes after posting and I got a “404”

Hi Quinton, what tuning were you in from around 6:10 and thereafter?
Hi Martin - Hope you're doing well! I was using DADGAD for the main part of the demo, switching back to standard for the final strum through.
@@quintonking9960 cool thanks. DADGAD is so atmospheric/moody. Stay safe, Q.
I like that aging this has but I never liked the beat up Look.
Is this available in a 00 size ???
The stained tops look ugly. I prefer natural wood throughout.
000 30 came out Spanish style, I think 1902 and in 1912 the 000 steel string came out. Might be wrong though. Thanks. Love your channel!
Got a little Sitar sound on the last clip around 6 minute maker.
