- The Puyo Puyo Fever NAOMI prototype finally got extracted! it used slightly different music compared to the final release, Popoi's Theme being the most different of them all.
Shout outs to ccateni 28 and MetalliC (the original dumper of the prototype) for helping extract it!
OH WOW THIS IS SO HEAVILY DIFFERENT COMPARED TO THE REST
Whilst the rest were similar to their final versions, this is totally different in comparison!
I love this version
its so goooood when i first recorded gameplay for this proto i knew i had to get the raw file for this
From what i've heard, this song was HELL to extract.
the entire game was hell to extract at first since i didnt have any of the tools for it but once someone came along with said tools and helped out, it was really easy
the song files are in ADX which is a really common format and has many tools for it so it wasnt at all hard to get them though
I think it’s really interesting how if this version was present in the final, it would be in pretty much every other Puyo game, since Sega really likes it. Honestly I may like this version better, but both are awesome.
It wasn't easy, but we both got the extraction done with help of the dumper of the prototype rom.
So thanks to Metallic for the help.
