I've done a bit of research. Some sites say if you have it at risk of cancer, not to take bpc 157. I don't know if it's a scare tactic or someone has came to the conclusion. Bpc 157 mechanism is to promote blood vessel growth at injury sites. Some say this could supply tumours with additional blood vessels. Think it's only fair to put this here. I have been researching them for a couple of weeks and just came across this info. It may be bs, but you are wise to get as much info as possible and take an informed decision. From what I have read, use them to treat an injury then when healed stop. Don't use them for extended periods of time if not injured and reduce your risk of side effects

@@dilettanter Actually we don't know if peptides are effective in humans. There are plenty of examples in the history of medicine where some practitioners believed a certain treatment worked from their experience taking care of patients and it turned out that the treatment wasn't effective when well-controlled randomized studies were performed. Dr. Hyman should know better. It's ok to discuss certain experimental treatments like peptides, but it's important to make it clear that it's not yet known if they're effective or safe in humans.

Why not start out with identification of several, where, or how to source them. Then say where they and why they are needed. I DON'T HAVE ALL DAY.😮😢

Do your research, it’s all over YT. You could visit a Naturopathic doctor. Average docs don’t know anything about peptides.

    Ergothioneine. From mushrooms.
    >The EGT concentration in different species of mushrooms was significantly different (p < 0.05), but it was not significantly related to the ability of the mushrooms to scavenge reactive oxygen species (p > 0.05). After isolating EGT from mushrooms, we demonstrated that the antioxidant ability of EGT accounts for about 25% of the total antioxidant ability of the extract. We studied the stability of EGT and found that it has excellent light, thermal, and acid-base stability.
