  • A raised panel cabinet making project required a router base but I needs to solve these problems:
The Bosch router bases were more than I wanted to invest into this project especially given the few negative reviews about the two Bosch router tables.
This left only the very expensive third party router bases as an option...
OR... make one myself. Game on. Continued here:

Built a base for it here: • Bosch router table bas...
Raised a panel with it here: • FAST build DIY Router ...

Thanks for sharing what you know about this router. Ive only used it to practice a few mortises for my daughters bed. But I can say the trigger in the handle is a safety bonus and game changer. An awesome router in every
    way. Thanks

Please use the Plunge Router Base to attach to the Bosh Router Table, it is as simple as that. This MR23EVS is a best of all routers.

I've been considering buying either the 1617 or the 23. After seeing this, since Bosch has an under-mount table base for the 1617 but not the 23, I'm leaning toward the 1617.

I'm trying to future-proof my table with the 2.3 horsepower model. Looking forward to talking this issue 🙄

I used to have the 1617, .. Till it got stolen…. So I now have the MR23…. It's all you need as far as any routers are concerned, ... If you have the imagination, ... There's not much you can't make…!
      👍😎👌

I wish I could offer some advise - but no. I have been leaning on my Festool routers for several years but have several other brands of all sizes. I have always liked the Bosch routers except for the bushing guides. So I went and bought one like you have a month ago - as if I need another one. I will be watching to see what you come up with.

Here is my contracting company playlist which has what I came up with for a router table. Works great and hardly any cost.
