I’m a Carolina fan, legitimately jealous of the moves Nashville’s made the last two seasons. They’re going to be fun to watch this year and should make a deep run

    Go Preds Go!

lol, this guy massively overpaid 3 aging players past their prime. The preds better win while their cup window is open maybe 1 to 2 years before stemkos and marchessault start to decline. I don't see nashville is ready for deep playoff run next season, all their core players are too old

It really is a shame to embarrass yourself like this. Either you didn’t watch the video and skipped straight to the comments, or you did, and are now showing what little you know about the Preds and their top tier farm system that Trotz is building. I’m sorry.

@@tangofett4065 Top tier farm system lmao. Dallas is supposed to have a really good prospects pool and they haven't won jack with them last year and the year before that. Winning a Stanley Cup is extremely hard. People are drooling all over Preds now because they added a bunch of over 30 years old that their previous teams didn't want, I don't see a cup winning caliber roster. The preds have zero top tier players on their roster, You simply will not go far with a bunch of 35 yr olds.

@@bbsss99 zero top tier talent? There you go with that crazy talk again. The Preds are in the top 10 farm systems in the NHL. Dev camp started yesterday, and it’s already popping. That means, when those “elderly” players retire, there are some talented youngsters ready to take their place.

@@tangofett4065 Why do you keep bringing up unproven rookie prospects that no one cares about? Are you telling me that the preds are loaded with mcdavid/makar caliber of 18 - 20 yr olds that will light up the league and help the preds win next year? Highly unlikely. By the time they're ready for nhl, all of nashville core players will be useless old plugs. Trotz probably made franchise altering mistake by giving two 34 yr olds horrendously bad contracts. Skjei, marchessault, and stemkos will eat up nearly 1/3 of the salary cap in the next 5 years. Hilarious how clueless you are.

@@bbsss99Rookie GM desperate to win first cup for the franchise and he overpaid all 3 & gave them no movement clause. Pure insanity. He couldn't wait another year and go after younger, better free agents like marner, rantanen or drisaitl? Tampa replaced stamkos with guentzel, vegas is making cap space for big fish and this dude just spent over 20 million dollars on 3 aging, washed up players.
