According to the interwebs, The R34 will be legal in the USA when it is 25 years old - 2024 for the ‘99 models, to 2027 for the ’02 models.

Those GT-R’s are just too sweet Chad… it’s great to see someone putting in the work to keep the older Skylines heartbeat going. I was fortunate enough to work for a Nissan dealer in St Louis as the New Car Inventory Manager. I accepted and QC inspected deliveries from the factory. I received a number of GT-R’s, including 1 NISMO. Driving that beast, I was like the kid in a candy store. It had an optional Titanium Exhaust, if memory serves me right, cost $15k… Great job on the content and videos…. Take care and safe travels on your upcoming trip back to the states…

Licence plates in Thailand can reach several million THB worth. Numbers like 9, 99, 999, 9999 or 1, 11, 111, 1111 or even 1234 (in sequence) are regularly put into some kind of auction system and up to grab for the high bider.
Number belief in general is a big deal in Thailand. Some pay insane amount of money to get their own "Lucky numbers". Great content as always, Thanks CHAD !

R34's also wern't brought into Australia by Nissan so we have only grey imports but even so they can be purchased "if you can find sb that wants to sell" for around $90,000 to $120,000 Aussie .. They have a BIG reputation here too... Love your work man !!

there is no personalized license plate in Thailand and 9 is considered an auspicious number as it rhymes with taking a step forward.
Let me correct you my fellow American. 9 (gao) is not a suspicious number… matter of fact it’s a lucky number. It doesn’t rhyme with taking a step forward and literally means to take a step forward. and you can buy personalized license plates but it’ll cost you quite the money for “nice numbers”.

My favorite R34 Skyline GTR color is deff Midnight Purple II & III but I also love the even more rare of colors which is Active Red and Lightning Yellow.

I have always loved the Nissan Red from the 80's/90's. Red with black trim or White with black trim. I like the Blue but with white rims.

that's a legit shop, my garage will have a similar type of set up when it's done. BTW can confirm that plate is expensive my HD is 999 didn't cost that much but it wasn't cheap lol
