As I understand it Tesla's profit in 2022 was $20 billion, but in the recent 12-month. That ended in March 31st. Tesla's profit had dropped to $16 billion per annum. Now Tesla CEO wants a pay package of $64 billion when the company only made $16 billion last year. A drop of 4 billion from 2 years before. Is that how it works in this country of fraternity, freedom and equality? Is that equality ? 😮
I believe the pay package package currently worth $45 billion, was initially agreed upon in 2018 when the company was not worth a lot less and that he hit all his milestones that he was supposed to in order to get it. He can't sell any stock in the compensation package for five years. So it's in his interests to raise the value of Tesla stocks during the next few years. As we hear in the video there is weakness and many sectors are down. Expect Tesla stock to rise when interest rates become lower and and car loan repayments become more affordable.
