    Nice solution Victor, easier now with the GROUPBY function!

      Yes, definitely easier with GROUPBY than any other, if you ask me

    This is very much intuitve. I am among the many who do not have it yet. Microsoft is saying it is them not us, So we are waiting and praying. Thank you for the education.

      Yes, straight to the point, nothing convoluted, just get the right function and you will be fine 😄

    In million lives, I'd do the pivot in million times. But the formula one will challenge your thinking but c'mon, the easiest is always the best. Great Vidoe, Victor.

      Easiest is relative 😁 If the challenge didn't require getting the Half of the year, it would be a no-brainer not to use Pivots

    Thank you, Victor!
    As usually, you demonstrate us the beauty, logic and variety of Excel.
    Interestingly, but I am also impressed with your neat formula for year halves (my first thought was to use a classic IF function instead)

      I guess the IF is the conventional way any and everyone would approach it, but sometimes just to be different 😀

    Excellent solution. Is it not possible to directly remove the GROUPBY headers in the field_headers argument? I simply ask. I don't have that feature available yet. Thank you Victor.

    • @ExcelMoments
      @ExcelMoments  9 месяцев назад +1

      It is or should I say it should be, but for some strange reason, even the option of No Headers still generated the headers(in this particular example), which was why I had to use the DROP function at the time of recording

    Any idea when 'Groupby' will get a general release, have you thought about a video on MS insider.

    • @ExcelMoments
      @ExcelMoments  9 месяцев назад

      Not sure when that will happen, some on the Insider channel dont have the funcrions as of today, so General release will still be a while, I reckon.
      When you say a video on Microsoft Insider, what do you mean?
